Irwin Sparkes 97
I expected this to happen, and Mancini's opinion is totally understandable

ricksen_da_best 2,034
Encouraging that Weiss is going to try and persuade to let mancini let him stay.Excellent news about Bartley thought.
havaldo 1
Until he signs elsewhere, anythings possible, look how many times the jelavic deal was apparently dead!
Smile 26,622
Mancini a wank all that money to spunk and one tin pot trophy he will lucky to be the manager making the decisions next year.
4MenHadADream 122
Shame, although tbh I was pretty much certain he wasn't going to come back next season before those comments. Hope it won't be the last time we see him in a rangers shirt anyway
craigeee 60
It would be a shame if Weiss ends up at some team in Germany or wherever and barely gets a game.
Irwin Sparkes 97
It would be a shame if Weiss ends up at some team in Germany or wherever and barely gets a game.Tbh, you could say the same about RangersHe only started 17 out of 38 SPL games
blueben_d 40
He's only a year left on his contract so fee permitting it could be his own choice
Jocky Broon 207
Doubt anyone would argue with Mancini's assessment of the SPL but I am not convinced Weiss has any future at Man City.He cant get a look in now and they are in a position where they will buy Players and not develop them so what are his realistic chances of making the breakthrough.I would rather we tried to buy him for a nominal fee and split any profit on a future transfer on a 50/50 basis.Obviously I am no expert on structuring transfer deals but maybe that is an area of expertise that Whyte and his team can bring to the table. We need to get more innovative on how we bring Players in to the club and one of the things I hope for is that Whyte and his team will introduce modern business innovations to us. ronnie107 70
why does mancini care where he goes for another season, doesnt he only have 1 year left on his contract anyway, whoever he goes to could potentially sign him on a free anyway.also, and i mean no disrespect when i say this, but can weiss actually break into man citys first team with the players they have and they players they will get now that they are in the champions league. id maybe see mancinis point if he was planning on using him, but he clearly wont
BlueDaughter 172
It would be a shame if Weiss ends up at some team in Germany or wherever and barely gets a game.This...Would really love to see him stay at the gers for the coming season
J...R 20
I don't like mancini anymore
SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Im pretty upset about him slagging our league. Idiot. The wee man only has 1 year of his contract left, its up to him if he wants to come back to Rangers, he can demand it.
dezrfc1 26
Mancini is a prick, if this SPL was that bad Weiss would have ripped teams apart week in week out which he didn't.
J...R 20
Mancini is a prick, if this SPL was that bad Weiss would have ripped teams apart week in week out which he didn't.Yes he did, when he was good he was virtually unstopable
dezrfc1 26
Yes he did, when he was good he was virtually unstopableNo he didn't, RM even went through a phrase when he was a scapegoat he was good, but not too good for the spl ... he only had 2 or 3 REALY good games where he didn't put a foot wrong. Plamf 39
The spl is dire, nothing false about that
ManchestGer 347
I guess we'll just have to wait and see if he can persuade Mancini. It's good to see that we've left such a good impression on both him and Bartley though that both would be really happy to continue their career at Rangers
GersAvA92 53
The SPL is poor but he'll never get a sniff at City, we will be playing Euro football next season...surely letting Weiss play for us again isn't going to put a dent in his mulit-million pound team and ambitions?...twat. SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Yes he did, when he was good he was virtually unstopableYou said "when he was good" Exactly the point, he did not rip teams apart regularly. He really struggled on the left for a while.
GlasgowsBlue 329
I've always hated Mancini. Hopefully Rangers get drawn against Man City in the CL and beat them. I also hope that Weiss sings a pre-contract with us in January if he's not aloud to come back on loan.
