AlCapone 7,678
As would be expected in any interviews he gives. As I've said earlier, he would love a move to London.Well said, it amazes me that anyone believes a word any player says in an interview

thebooler 4,509
Thank fuck Villa don't play in London then... £6m isn't even close to being enough for McGregor. We shouldn't sell him at all, but if pushed for a valuation of what it would take to sell we should be over-valuing him and saying he's not for sale, but if he was then he'd be worth 15 to 20 million. That would send a message to the vultures that they need to come in with offers over £10m.I've never said they did - I merely said he would love a move to London.Do Spurs play in London? Broxi 11,721
Gérard Houllier is expected to press ahead with plans to sign the Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor if he is cleared to return to work this week. The Aston Villa manager has been recuperating at home since he was discharged from hospital last month, after suffering a dissection of the descending aorta.Houllier's position will become clear once doctors reveal the results of what is understood to be a fourth and final set of tests. The goalkeeping position has become a priority at Villa because of the imminent departure of Brad Friedel, who has attracted strong interest from Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur and is certain to leave the Midlands.McGregor, who has two years remaining on his contract at Rangers, has been on Houllier's radar for some time and is the Frenchman's first choice to replace Friedel. The 29-year-old would be valued at about £5m.
Irwin Sparkes 97
I'd be absolutely devastated if the first bit of business of the Whyte regime was to sell McGregor to a mid table EPL club

Too many people on here seem to think we've been taken over by a billionaire with cash to burn.My own opinion is that there aren't too many clubs out here who would spend upwards of 6 million quid on a keeper fast approaching 30 and that McGregor himself may be tempted by pastures new. SirWalterSmithLegend 206
Fully expect him to leave, Alexander will be number 1 and Langfield will be back up. It will be interesting to see how well our new regime can play the transfer market, lets hope its not the same crap we had to put up with under Bain. TMB 14,167
£5m is not enough. £10m before I wouldn't be pissed off at his departure. £10m will also double our transfer kitty for the summer and we have an able replacement in Alexander.
