He's going to miss pre-season so all this bullshit about 'good pre-season under his belt' can end right now. He will NEVER deliver at Rangers. amcewan 1 Posted July 8, 2011 Share Posted July 8, 2011 When he signed last year it was when the Jela deal looked dead.Based on Beattie's record prior to falling out with Pulis it was worth the punt.If he had been given time to do a proper pre-season and get himself properly fit after missing a season or whatever it might well have been a success.As it turned out he was thrown on to the pitch as soon as he arrived.Needless to say, he picked up an injury and was then followed through the door by Jela which pretty much ruled out his involvement.His biggest mistake was to put his hand up and say he would help out Walter by playing when unfit even though they both knew he shouldn't be doing it.Beattie's record prior to Stoke showed he was a quality player.Hindsight is such a wonderful gift.We can all win the Euro millions that way.Try looking forward positively and support the players and management rather than slaughtering them all the time.
