albertz loyal 6
Players fault or not. The managers sense of any sort of tactics is fuckin embarrassing. The managers embarrassing tactics were working for 70odd mins,we lost this at the brox ,beaten off a very average team over 2 legs but they played well tonight and if they play that way in the spl we wont be far away from 4inarow.a couple of additions are needed but there are positives from tonight. sassaaaa 11,406
Will say it again ...........McCoist should never have got the job , and as each week goes by its getting more and more obvious ............His whole football management mentality is centred around Walter Smith and he won't change just like Smith never would ..........Its only a matter of time before Whyte realises this and takes appropriate action .......... wearethemighty 186
Its going to be a long long season Cant remember the last time I was this raging, (actually it was after the Kaunas) absolutley pathetic by our board and manager and those two idiots that got sent off.Edit:

Mr. Whyte has never run a football club, McCoist has never managed. Our transfer dealings have been laughable, our tactics, selections and performances have been shite. We are out of the Champions League, yet another embarrassing result in Europe.Ally McCoist is not being his own man, he looks lost - I am not slating him, I'm stating the fucking obvious. Del 667
What you can blame the manger for is a, imo, poor team selection and bemusing lack of subs.Bemusing lack of subs...Who would he have taken off or brought on? Greg "run down the line" Wylde? Healy? Its aall very well subbing players but when theres noone to bring on whats the point!

macavoy 1
1 win in 23. I don't think we can defend that.
ScottBF2 3,540
Don't recall anyone getting sent off when they beat us at home.Had those two arseholes not gotten themselves sent off, we would have won tonight. No If's or But's. We played shite at Ibrox and deserved to lose - but the performance tonight was brilliant up until the Receding-haired retard decided to throw the ball at the Malmo player because he clipped him. We were the better side up until that point, and were arguably still in the game until Mr Ambition went in with a forearm smash that John Cena would have been proud of. We had chances, and Ally looks like he's finally getting a grip of how to do his job.

And that just because it ain't broke yet, it doesn't mean there's nothing to fix? We had nine men on the field getting more and more tired and Ally just stands there. He made two substitutions over the 180 minutes. TWO. And one of them was to replace an injured player. Why is he so afraid to make tactical decisions?
weearrapeeple 1
The buck stops with ally but I am truly gutted. Jelavic had a chance to score but he missed, would he have scored that had we still had 11 men on the park?Malmo were and are shite. We should've rolled them over home and away without breaking sweat.

He'd set up a tactic that was working successfully for the opening exchanges, then came the flashpoint. Afterwards we were still totally in the game and got a goal, still comfortable - until Bougherra comes flying in, then we lose a bit of momentum and Malmo score. We struggled after their goal - couldn't see that the plan hadn't changed drastically: we still needed to score.Ally can't be blamed for tonight, he did the best he could with what we had. We were the dominant team and were able to press Malmo as we had the same number of players. We would have won if it were 11 v 11, it's not really up for debate. We were pressuring them and gave them nothing in return - Whittaker aside.
macavoy 1
How many defeats? Not sure. Doesn't matter. Where has how many draws got us? Since Kaunas we have had the champions league twice without having to qualify. We've went out with a whimper on both occasions and now we are out again. lee-irvine 53
i feel ally is partly to blame, but not to the extent that some are making out, whittakers moment of madness played the biggest part in the outcome of the game in my opinion. He is the manager, he takes a % of the blame, results lie with him, we are out of the Champions League at first stage.
