jdocherty72 215
What if we had Lafferty for the game against Hearts, what if we had Lafferty for both legs of Malmo? Think we're really missing the big man to be honest. Normally critical of the big man but since he started playing in his natural position i've got a feeling he'll be a key player for us this season.Thoughts? markybear 136
U don't know what uve got till it's not available, laff was coming on to a game, gutted he got injured. Question for the Laff haters/dis-likers.....How many goals would the great rangers centre forward ally McCoist score from left wing? Lafferty scored goals up top, he ain't a left winger and therefore it made him look like an amateur

As forwards, played purely as forwards, you can't even begin to compare their goal-scoring records though.Lafferty kinda equals mcCoist in 'the last six games of the season' cup...and compares woefully otherwise. Super Ally Scores Again! 498
Is it not really a sad indictment on things at the moment that we may start to pin our hopes on Lafferty? Yes granted he has predominantly been played out of position on the left wing and yes he has finished the last three seasons well and his first goal at Rugby Park was exceptionally executedBut!Surely if we had signed Goodwillie everyone would have expected the front pairing to be Jelavic/Goodwillie with Lafferty back up? So surely we still need to sign a striker to atleast apply some competition to the strikers who are already here?
Td18 3
Think Lafferty has it all to be a very good striker. Just needs to keep on improving and keep the head down which it seems like he is doing.Weve definately missed him recently, he would have been a handful for Malmo. Getstiffed 8,863
Still wouldnt have solved our lack of creativity. But given how poor Malmo were in the air another 6 foot+ striker wouldnt have been a bad thing.
TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
No, Go and study his form since he signed for us.
caseyjones 3,009
Lafferty has been woeful since he signed for us with the exception of the last few games in a couple of seasons. He has previously been played as a centre-forward but was unable to hold his place in that position. If he wasn't a Rangers supporting, NI Prod he would have been hunted long ago.You know things are worse than first thought when Lafferty is being touted as our saviour. 1690KWilliam 170
I think Bartley would have made a difference in those games if he had been signed up sooner on loan. Not sure about Laff. He can be woeful at times!
Johnny Dangerously 7,563
We caused them problems in the air with Naismith and Jelavic. The main problem was we missed clear cut chances, would people actually rely on Kyle to have put those chances away? He missed numerous chances against PSV last season.I would, he had a cracking end to the season and his confidence would be high. Think he would have buried at least one of them.
