DreamOfDavieWeir 157
Worth a shot. He's got like 2 weeks left until he's back to full fitness. Would score for fun up here.

docspiderman 1,318
His very rare spectacular goals hide his lack of pace and overall ineffectiveness.
Frankie 505
I'd suggest the fact McFadden hasn't already been signed by another club, means his injury record (and wage demands) are scaring off most potential buyers.Plus the fact that he's just not very good. Senna 735
Well past his prime. Would only be a bit part player at best.
adam2102 666
so i think james mcfadden is vastly over-rated - doesnt pass the ball, and scores with 1 out of about every 300 shots. BUT we've not got a huge selection of strikers and for a free agent, we could do much worse
DreamOfDavieWeir 157
Better option than Lafferty in my opinion. If Wolves are offering him trials I don't see why we can't take a pop. He's good enough to play 46 times in the EPL in the last 2 seasons.

DreamOfDavieWeir 157
Anyone that suggests James McFadden has only ever watched his Scotland games and picked him out as half decent amongst the shambles that is usually our display. For his clubs in England he was injured every second week, is greedy, doesn't pass, is wastefull, doesn't score.Aberdeen tried to sign him - that should tell it all, like Motherwell going for Jeffers. If we want a injury prone striker with more potential then we should start playing Hemmings.Lets face it though. Hemming's will never get a real chance up here. His level is on loan to Ross County or something. Mcfadden would be a starter for us.A lot of people thought Kenny was done after his Bheggars and Derby stints but look what happened to him. Misteral 2,952
Too slow and a Championship club would offer him more money anyway.

Gitch 365
Aye, let's sign someone who's probably had the best years of their career and will probably never be anything more than a substitute taking digs at the club in the paper cause he think's he's better than he is. Plus he's pish so naw.
sdunsmb 43
His injury and wage demands are the main concerns. He is over rated but the people saying they don't want him cos he's shite need to have a look at our current attacking midfielders / wingers !!Will probably end up at Wolves.
