Kyle Bartley Injured

RANGERS have been dealt another major injury blow with the news that Kyle Bartley is facing up to a month out of action.

The bombshell follows the news earlier today that Lee Wallace is out of Sunday's Inverness trip and Kyle Lafferty is facing another three to four weeks out with a hamstring problem.

And these problems are exacerbated by the fact that Sasa Papac is suspended for the next two matches while Mo Edu will sit out the Hearts game through suspension.

Bartley was absent for last week's Kilmarnock match and manager Ally McCoist has revealed it is a more serious problem than they thought.

He told rangers.co.uk: "Kyle Bartley has a problem with his groin and he is going to be out for three to four weeks.

"It's certainly another problem we could do without because we are stretched.

"We know that whoever comes in for the injured players will have to be on top of their game."

With Wallace and Papac out, McCoist will need to re-jig things as he makes his plans for Sunday's game.

He said: "We have options on the left side. Kirk Broadfoot, for example, can play on the left side of a back four.

"Salim Kerkar has played at left back and Gregg Wylde has also played there for the youths."
