See the Cup Winners Cup and meet a Rangers legend at JJB Sports

Recommended Posts

'RANGERS fans can now get their hands on the new 2012/13 kit after the eagerly anticipated strip hits shops on Thursday.

The top pays homage to the shirt worn four decades ago by the legendary Barcelona Bears and is released on the 40th anniversary of the famous Cup Winners' Cup triumph.

And, to celebrate the launch, the famous trophy and one of the men who lifted it will be visiting JJB stores where fans can catch a glimpse of the club's most famous piece of silverware.

Alex MacDonald will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs in the company of the cup he helped to win on that hot, tense night in Barcelona.

Full details of where and when you can see the Cup Winners' Cup and meet Alex MacDonald next week are listed below.'

Dosent look like it.

I am going in to Ayr JJB on Friday with a Rangers book and nothing else.

I missed the Irvine one on Monday.

However, I'm going down to Ayr on Friday to make sure I come back to Irvine soil for the first time with a photo of me taken with the Big cup.

Do you need to purchase the top to get your pic taken with the cup

I don't think so. At least that was the case with the Irvine visit. My sister went and got her pic taken, without buying a top. She also got a print which was signed.

Two Rangers Legends, Jim Baxter gave you a shirt and Alex MacDonald presented you with a medal - I really hate you ED.

And both true.........................Baxters was a cracker as i said his house was 2 mins from my school playing fields............thing is George Brown the ex Rangers player and Director was nalso headmaster at my school and when we changed to the round neck top , he sent a full kit of the famous V neck and shorts and those famous black and red socks to the school for the FPs to wear.

So played a few games for the FPs and wore the full thing......often wonder what happened to that kituk.gifuk.gif

I had John Greigs top and Wullie Hendersons shorts lol had the name inside the shorts.

Have been really really jammy over the years.
