However, I'm going down to Ayr on Friday to make sure I come back to Irvine soil for the first time with a photo of me taken with the Big cup. And both true.........................Baxters was a cracker as i said his house was 2 mins from my school playing fields............thing is George Brown the ex Rangers player and Director was nalso headmaster at my school and when we changed to the round neck top , he sent a full kit of the famous V neck and shorts and those famous black and red socks to the school for the FPs to wear.So played a few games for the FPs and wore the full thing......often wonder what happened to that kitI had John Greigs top and Wullie Hendersons shorts lol had the name inside the shorts.Have been really really jammy over the years.
