ClintonGrey 365
Rangers will be fined and the Scottish Football Team will probably be banned from a competition (probably the world cup), that's my prediction.
JM1872 3,819
Rule 66 allows for a maximum fine of £100,000 to be imposed, as well as ejection from the Scottish Cup, a suspension, expulsion from participation in the game and/or termination of SFA membership. Weren't they considering chucking us out? So if that was too much, but also an embargo isn't allowed either, what is it going to be? suspension? or ejection from the Scottish Cup (wouldn't bother me)?Hopefully it's neither of the first ones. chris182 6,531
More fool the SFA. The farcical ban decison and their use if a "independent" panel is the whole reason it has got to this stage. I think we have a extrenuating circumstances tho in the fact that the SFA didn't give us an option to appeal to the CoA.FIFA will want blood according to STV. Can the SFA relegate us? Can only the SPL do this? Surely this would ve a disaster for the SPL? What a fucking mess
Alnic3856 358
FIFA rules state we must use CAS, SFA rules state we are not allowed to use CAS, we did what our national association allows us to do, FIFA do not have a fucking leg to stand on basically what they are saying is, accept this Illegal punishment or we will Illegaly punish you, fuck them. loyalfollower 1,543
Im glad its been deemed unlawful, but with fifa breathing down s.f.a's necks. I reckon we'll b suspended. Can anyone tell me why we were not allowed to appeal to c.a.s? It would've been a damn site easier for all involved!
theiconicman 3,124
Presumably this can all be sorted out by applying one of the actual sanctions listed? We did not go to court to challenge the SFA's right to apply sanctions, only that the sanctions they did apply were unlawful.Seems an easy way out for everyone involved.
