wearethepeople1 3,897
Run down stadium. We are still a 5* club, we have new screens and updated catering facilities. Not like breeze block stadium across the city. It's certainly not run down, but could be doing with a bit of TLC
GLASGOWRFC 101
20 Million for half a dozen empty folders (Rangers TV Green Interview last night)and a run down stadium? Get fucking real if he had a league place secured and the playing squad tied up maybe just maybe 20 million would be realistic as it is he doesnt even have a fucking dinner lady so 20 mill is pie in the sky.You need to do your homework....or you've had one too many sherbets! Jimfanciesthedude 24,547
18 hours ago or so Green bought Rangers for 5.5million. Now he's wanting 20million of Walter for him to take control. no could have made this up.i take it green never spent a penny in the bidding process or funding the club this month or in lawyers fees etc. His consortium has already said it's ten million they have spent
TheFarmer 260
And for a club that he has just bought for 5.5million 18 hours or so ago.He has also paid all running costs of the club from June 1st, with the club not having any source of income during this period.Along with his fee's for securing the deal over the last month or two i wouldn't be surprised if he has put at least £10m in already. So he'll be wanting at least £15m back minimum, which is a fair price considering what he's done. remember no-one else stepped up. boss 1,941
18 hours ago or so Green bought Rangers for 5.5million. Now he's wanting 20million of Walter for him to take control. no could have made this up.1. Green hasn't bought the club - there are a number of investors.2. They are lying out significantly more than £5.5m.3. Green hasn't mentioned £20m.But apart from that, your OP is accurate.
Gaz92 966
if he waits 3 or 4 yrs and manages us properly he will get alot more tbfHe did say he would be out within a year though. I can imagine the temptation to walk out of this situation after such a short period of time with a profit is overwhelming.

I can imagine the temptation to walk out of this situation after such a short period of time with a profit is overwhelming.he said he would hope to not be running the rangers in 12 months time not that he hopes to sell up his shares by then.he hopes to right the ship then leave the board ect to run it so he can consentrate on other things.hes never said he hopes to have sold up in a yrs time. Boab 73
Maybe not but, Green has said that all the time it has taken him to get a hold of us it's cost him around 10million. Maybe thats where the paper got there figure from? Walter smith offered 8million yesterday and it was knocked back.Or maybe you shouldn't have quoted shite from the paper? Non_Sucumbi 876
They said they paid £10m all in getting us and want doubleThe 10M appears to be factual.Wanting to double your investment is not unreasonable especially when the people who love the club and who want to buy the club (McColl + Park) are loaded. Many people want Green gone. They want the WS led consortium to take over. Fair enough. To quote an old American game-show 'COME ON DOWN, THE PRICE OS RIGHT'. j1mgg 3,766
I think we can all see more than a fan has an agenda, never that far off what MD is spouting either. As said the money to buy the club was 5.5m, but what about all the time he has put in before, and the running costs of the last month? 1873bear 192
£20 millions is pennies to McColl it's like £100 to me and you if they are serious pay the money all the dirty work has been done...in a hundred years the history books can have them as saviours...........I think Rangers men didn't have the bottle to take us down the newco route and its best an outsider has done the dirty deed so maybe that's why they came in at this stage as a different consortium.
