murray1012 9
His debut seems to have been overlooked due to some cracking performances and the usual phenomonal home support. He looked the part, comfortable on the ball and always looking to find feet rather than the long ball the other centre halfs tried all game. The man is huge so no doubt he will be beneficial in both boxes. A welcome addition, welcome to Rangers big man.
Blue Nosed Babe 20,875
I certainly liked what I saw from him yesterday. I think he will be a very welcome addition to our team on this adventure. He had good composure and when he gets up to match fitness he will turn on the style.
topgoalie 637
Looks a class act,has played in the champions league with Lazio, also played with Siena,Napoli, and his last club were Cruzeiro in Brazil, and you can see why, looks the total athlete and at 6 foot 3' is so comfortable on the ball, but then he is Brazilian, along with Sandaza they will be a joy to watch. Ger_onimo 20,488
Thanks for that, was wondering how he got on. The words "Brazilian" and "defender" can ring alarm bells when put together! Relieved to hear he looked composed.
Hamie 4,851
Yes he looked good. Hope he keeps fit, his wiki page shows he's not played much over the last few years. But then again that's wiki and should be taken with a pinch of salt. Prince of Orange 84
Agreed he did look comfy on the ball, need to see him do some actual defending though as by the time he got on the shire players were clearly knackered so he didn't have to do any! Blue Nosed Babe 20,875
Rafael Scheidt, still the best name in Scottish Football....Of Course their defence that season truly was TEBILLY SCHEIDT!

topgoalie 637
Without being overly critical of the defence in previous matches, a central defender looking to pass the ball out rather than hoof it long was a total breath of fresh air. Hopefully the other guys will follow his lead.

docspiderman 1,254
Looked to be a footballing defender but could not understand why a player who is obviously very right sided was told to play on the left of the back three while the left sided Boca moved to the centre and Goian who has been patently more than uncomfortable in wide areas was moved from the central role.Would like to see the new boy playing in a back 4 instead of Goian. andy500 463
Why did people boo his first couple of touches? He was miles out after the ball rebounded wildly from a corner or a cross, and I think a lot of people shouted 'Shooooot'But aside from that, almost all his touches were cheered. KingAlly 23
Reminds me of Rolando just from his way of running and general look
Shearer 124
Why did people boo his first couple of touches? Every touch he had the fans clapped.
GOAT 30,449
It's funny because the guys next to me in CR1 even asked why there was some boo's.I know exactly what I heard.
Coplandbear11 1,087
Didn't hear any boos. He got clapped his first few touches but there was a time from a corner the ball fell to him about 50 yards out and a lot of fans jokingly shouted shoot, which at first I thought sounded like booing. I sit in cf1.
southcoastbear 1,639
Like the sound of this player and really hope that things work out as not only could we do with a quality passing CB but would be a good role model for the young defenders coming through rather than this constant hoofing the ball up the park nonsense, although there are times when this is the wisest choice rather than playing ourselves into trouble. MosesMcNeil 1,664
Why did people boo his first couple of touches? Eh?I was going to ask why he got the full hero treatment every time he so much as looked at the ball.It was very entertaining
MosesMcNeil 1,664
Every touch he had the fans clapped.Yep - bizarre to witness and all the more fun because of the apparently random nature of the continued applause for the lad.Instant cult hero or whit?
