Neil Lennon has been hit with a Scottish FA notice of complaint for using offensive language towards St Mirren captain Jim Goodwin.

The Celtic boss was caught on microphone during a live broadcast of his side's game in Paisley on Sunday shouting at the player.

Lennon sarcastically praised Goodwin for a hard challenge on Celtic's Dylan McGeouch, allegedly using foul and abusive language in the process.

"Well done Jim," he is alleged to have said. "Well done Jim, you're a f*****g hard man, eh? You f*****g f***y. F*****g
