Marky. 7,108
I saw Steve Bruce was linkedCan't see it either, the fans also don't want Coyle it seems. Most of them want Rene Meulensteen, a Man united coach, who is one of the favourites for the job.Not sure why, why having worked his way around the reserves, youth team and most recently first team, he could be have learned from the best. OLE SUPER WILBERT 2,475
Buying into his own hype.Seems like it with that statement but he always struck me as a level headed guy tbh.Anyway, Kenwright vows to back him in the transfer market. Marky. 7,108
Dave Whelan says there's no clause to stop him bidding for Wigan players.Whelan already said he may need to cut the wage bill. That'll be McCarthy gone then. Can get reasonably big bux anyway for him. Maybe about £6m for a player who has good potential.McManaman may be another to go, although he was released by Everton as a youngster, I know he's a huge Everton fan, so it seems like a perfect fit.Apart from that, I can't see Martinez taking anyone else, except maybe Ramis, who was decent in the first few months before getting injured.Everton can sign better strikers than Kone you'd feel, and get someone younger with just as much talent as Maloney. Marky. 7,108
My mate Andy is an Everton supporter and he's raging with it, he thinks they'll be fighting relegation next season I think that's probably a bit extreme.I don't see them vastly improving without significant investment, but I don't see them tumbling down either.
