The Board of Rangers Football Club are appalled and saddened at the current demeanour of Mr Malcolm Murray and the damage that he is causing to the Club and regard his behaviour as totally unbefitting a once respected practitioner in the City of London’s financial community.

That paragraph is a disgraceful statement to come from the board of our Club, but you see that's the rub... It's not even from our Club. That is almost certainly the fork-tongued, nasty spin work of Toxic Jack Irvine, who's currently being paid handsomely to run smear tactics in an all out effort to try to save the jobs of the guys on our board. Most people know exactly what the Board are insinuating by 'appalled and saddened by his current demeanour'. By all means challenge his various assertions, but dishing out personal insults is not the Rangers way.

Behaving like MM and Mini and his cohorts have been is certainly not "The Rangers way".

Some of us know exactly what has gone on in some of the meetings that were held last year and MM was an utter embarrassment to the club.

Ask the football authorities what they thought of his speech last year.

Ask the rest of the board what they thought of his constant leaks.

Then ask yourself, is this good enough for the Chairman of Rangers?

Most of us are not stupid we know that the current board are not perfect.

But they are a hell of a lot better than the other joke option.

No plan, no money, no shares.

To do what these rebels are doing is harmful to the club they claim to love.

Can't agree that this release is petty.

It pretty much maintains/increases the credibility of the current board, with M. Murray left naked. His integrity is now ell fucked. As for mini, he never had any anyhow.

The big salaries/bonuses agreed and paid under the watch of M. Murray and Green. The one off big payments under the watch of M. Murray and Green.

Let's be honest, there isn't much that you can lay blame to current board.

The Board have got it wrong here. MM was obviously talking about his appointment to the Board of RIFC and not his previous appointment to Sevco Scotland and then RFC. He was on that Board with CG, IA and BS so would be outvoted at every stage.

Crickey! I managed 4 pages of this thread before giving up as all the usual arguing has raised it's ugly head again. What do you say about these board wars that anyone involved in them will give a blind bit of notice to? Keith Jackson was on Radio O'Scotland tonite and he certainly knew what to say by slagging Rangers off in general, It's only going to get worse as the AGM approaches and all these journos are going in to feeding frenzy mode. They should keep their petty slanging matches to private correspondance.

It's also extremely hypocritical of them to use the word "unbefitting" to describe others when their own actions are unbefitting of directors on the board of Rangers Football Club.

They're wasting god knows how much cash paying multiple law firms to scuttle around threatening fans and fans' forums based on 'defamtion' laws, then the turn around and start bordering on breaching defamation laws themselves in official statements?
