Creampuff 22,628
Tim Bresnan has bowled really well. He deserves better figures than he has. 3 of 4 'almosts'.
TEFTONG 60,108
Tim Bresnan has bowled really well. He deserves better figures than he has. 3 of 4 'almosts'.Just no pace. And Jimmy looks very ordinary when there is no swing. I can see Smith and Haddin batting out the rest of the day.
Creampuff 22,628
England's problem is that they're letting Australia score at 4 an over. That was fine when wickets were falling but it's how Australia managed to go from "nearly disaster" to "reasonable score" in the space of an hour or so.They either need to start taking wickets or starve them of runs. Creampuff 22,628
This pair being a little smarter. Every shot is aimed towards the ground. Even the pulls are bouncing early. It might turn some 4s into 3s, but it also saves wickets.
Creampuff 22,628
And as I say that, Haddin nearly turns it onto his own stumps trying to slog Swann .
Creampuff 22,628
Bumble spot on as usual.England getting over excited with the bounce pulling too short. Bang it in full, outside off and load slips and gullies. Pull out points to encourage the drive. Throw the occasional bouncer to give the batsmen something to think about. Creampuff 22,628
Broad off the field and only one slip for Bresnan. Is Cook waiting for the new ball 63 overs in? .
Creampuff 22,628
That should be out.Carberry fails to pick up a loose Haddin shot in the air and the catching chance - and it was a chance - falls short.

TEFTONG 60,108
Getting the Aussies all out for under 300 would be a bonus for England. But I fear that their batting is not strong enough to equal or better that. Would love to be proved wrong mind you.
novosleftboot 6,285
Needed that wicket! If we'd missed out on Haddin again to a front foot no ball I'd hve been on the next flight to Perth to wrap a bat round Stokes' head!
