Creampuff 22,628
STUMPS DAY ONE. AUS 326-6Australia have reached what is - roughly - a par score for an innings here, with four wickets to build an advantage on.Smith (103*) and Johnson (39*) survive the night, and along with Haddin's 55, change what was looking a horrible day for Australia into one that they'll look back on as an excellent one. Creampuff 22,628
Steve Smith needed that knock. He's evolved as a batsman and that innings was very impressive under the circumstances.
Creampuff 22,628
England's bowling coach just all but admitted they made a mistake by not picking one of Finn, Tremlett or Rankin.
dummiesoot 16,006
Smith looks about 5 years old. Excellent knock from him tho
TEFTONG 60,108
It seems to me that England just dont have the killer instinct this series. They get the Aussies in trouble then seem to take the foot off the gas. Credit to Smith cracking wee knock and Johnson looked to be really enjoying himself there. plymouthranger 3,872
I just can't see how England are going to win this test. Aussies could easily reach 400 here, and England just don't have that high score an innings in them. If they don't take control 2mrw, do you play for a draw or go for it? Duncan 23
Once again England get themselves into a decent position early on then fall apart. Too much nicey nicey goes on with England and keeping out of Form players in the side

TEFTONG 60,108
Some England fans calling for Anderson to be dropped .Fickle fans in Cricket who wouldve thunk it!?. The conditions and the wickets have not suited him at all. He did collect a cracking run out. Im still backing Jimmy Jimmy Jimmy.

Creampuff 22,628
Brad Haddin is in the form of his life with bat as well as gloves. I reckon he could still be in the side when they return to England.

novosleftboot 6,285
England have very much gone into their shells. Not a problem as long as the runs come once they're set.

Creampuff 22,628
Cook has probably only gotten out to a really good ball once in this series, and even then he should have played it much, much better.
novosleftboot 6,285
Better shot from Pietersen, whipping a full ball off his toes for 4.Now looking to take the attack to Johnson. Exciting little spell coming up, I feel.
