The sort of draw you'd look at then be glad the tournament isn't played on clay. Why would you be glad it isn't played on clay? Murray's game on that surface is superb now. That's besides the point though, very good draw for Andy, he's certainly reaping the benefits right now of his Number 2 seeding. Also I don't see any way Wawrinka makes it to the semi finals, he's on a terrible run of form.

Just because essentially all of the players he's seeded to play are better on clay than any other surface.

No real clue as to what those personal issues are, but people had been speculating something happened after it came out that his wife wasn't in his box for the Querrey match and had actually left London altogether. Novak didn't go into further detail just said the problem has been solved. Private issues like the banning of meldonium I wonder?

I do think Edmund has a chance at cracking the top of the game. Good serve, booming forehand. He has some work to do in other areas but if his work ethic is anywhere near Murrays he has a chance at the top of the game.

Frightening thing is Murray aged 14 knew the LTA are a bunch of incompetent asshats and left to go training in Spain. The LTA themselves haven't produced anyone of note since god knows when. Nadal at their primes would have sold out a 50k seater. Obviously the issue is you can't see the fucking ball past a certain point.
