TravelingWilBEARy 4,319
i agree, hence why people are then worried why mcculloch is getting sharpness in the midfield role, why would ally play him there all pre season not to play him there in the competitive gameswhy sign hutton again if we now have jig, black, macleod, peralta for the sitting mid rolei agree, but we need to be good at plan A first, arguably we arent given we have just put 4 new players into the teamI can't see Jig being a permanent fixture in the starting line up this season, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.I can't forsee any of our new players - Miller and Boyd especially - having any trouble fitting into plan A. GOAT 30,449
Just watched the highlights. Couple of things. How the fuck did Boyd miss those chances?Their goal, why the fuck do we not have someone on the 18 yard line marking this clown who just gets a free shot at our goal? It will almost certainly be Law and Black in centre mid and they've just had an entire season to forge a partnership - whether you agree they did or not is immaterial as it is unlikely that a few pre-season games are going to change that.I'm not even going to respond to the last point. ritchieshearercaldow 22,137
I'm disappointed for the American audience, the way we're playing will hardly fill them with inspiration.
And another thing... 64
I was at the game and thought overall the team did well. Still lacking match fitness, but that's what these games are all about. Miller seems very fit, Boydy still has a wee bit to go. By the time we face Hives and the jam farts the team will be stronger. I'll think we'll have a much better season this year.
Blumhoilann 6,712
Thought,Mohsni,McCulloch,Boyd and Wallace were a yard off the pace. Was notable that Wallce wan't charging forward much.Templeton wasn't at it,heard the commentator say he was a life long Tim??? Big improvement needed all round.
And another thing... 64
West Brom only beat SRFC 1 - 0 and that was a penalty.
