This one's too far gone to be of any assistance. He's clearly not interested in the tax-payers' concerns. In fact, he is a tax-payers' concern, as he was party to the rubber-stamping.

Just checked his timeline and during a conversation with PZJ he replied "I did not "approve" demolition.I agreed. I did not object but decision/approval was GCCs"

Seems to me that people in high places are getting squeaky bums Word of the corruption is obviously getting out there and their 1st line of defence is the old victim card of 'sectarianism/racism'

They're getting scared, could be a BIG can of worms being opened.

This I can verify :pipe:

that`s the death knoll then.Had the original LP and everyone knew he stole all his `patter` of the old welder that taught him.

Started out trying to be a musician/humblebums or smilar, during breaks he would re-tell stories/jokes from his mentor and others.

On he went etc etc, dumped his wife, the rest is history.Far from being the `jovial jester` the guy is an utter cunt, sort of Scottish Paul McCartney.

Hates every cunt, need pliers to get a £ coin out his hand.

Hope you read this ya tim cunt,If it wasn`t for Rod Stewart shagging your keltic arsehole then you would not have been the prick you are today.

You will deny your `alleged` bender encounters but it`s common knowledge Billy or should that be Jessie?

Yes; Connolly started off The Humblebums with a guitarist named Tam Harvey, then Gerry Rafferty joined them.I always said to Australians that Connollys' patter was no different from what you would hear on any Glasgow street or pub, but he had the balls to go on stage and do it in front of strangers.

I can definitely vouch for Mr Brightside when he states Connolly always maintained he was a staunch supporter of Partick Thistle.

In fact, I can also tell you Connolly 100% denied he had any affection for the scum in any way.

He probably thinks its an easy way to avoid the question as nobody wants to be tarred with the sectarian brush!

I didn't know brushes were sectarian,i just thought they were for sweeping things under the carpet.

He also says MSP's receive back handers on a daily basis all over the country and it's not law breaking, if you're not paying any tax off that it's pretty much illegal.

Perhaps this explains his willingness to use suspicious deflection tactics when asked awkward questions.

Unbelievable - I'm sure Police Scotland would be interested in his comments

Absolutely. (tu)

He used to say his team was "Patrick Thistle nil"

That was the joke as I recall

To ask the Scottish Government whether it provides support to Sudan from its international development budget and, if so, what discussions it has had with the Sudanese authorities concerning Mariam Yahia Ibrahim Ishag, who has been sentenced to death and 100 lashes for apostasy.

Answered by Humza Yousaf (05/06/2014):

The Scottish Government has not provided any direct support to the Government of Sudan. The international development budget funded a project run by Tearfund in the Darfur region of Sudan during the first round of our Sub Saharan Development Programme in 2008. This was a four year project and it was awarded a grant of £1.25 million.

The project aimed to meet the basic needs of local and displaced people through provision of nutrition support and health promotion in feeding centres and health clubs, as well as improvements to water, sanitation and food security.

We have been in contact with the UK Government and fully support the representations made by the UK and EU regarding the Mariam Yahia Ibrahim Ishag case, and are unequivocal in our support for freedom of religion and belief and in our opposition to the death penalty in all circumstances. The Scottish Government has not had any direct discussions with the Sudanese authorities.

This year, as part of the celebrations for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, VisitScotland, through Homecoming Scotland, is supporting The Homecoming Muster and The Commonwealth Flotilla. Ishag is an unfortunate name for a ex-Muslim woman.

Makes her sound a bit dirty or at least like a sex toy from Apple.

I'm sure John Mason said on twitter London Road school was demolished because they couldn't find another use for it. Then someone came on and said they would have bought it to turn it into offices but the scum were the only ones with an option to buy it.

"@JohnMasonMSP: @bhoab It is part of the bigger picture of sectarianism, anti-Irish racism, etc. "

In response to this perhaps he could be asked to name the last protestant provost of Glasgow. It would be very interesting if somebody could publish accurate records of the number of catholic/Irish catholic holding top public office in Glasgow and Scotland as a whole and compare this with the proportion of their percentage of the country's overall population. Likewise the GCC records of the proportion from this group occupy jobs within the GCC over all. Somehow I think that you may find that their representation is higher than one would expect from a group that proclaims itself to be a minority that faces institutional bias in Scotland.
