Gandalf the Blue 1,384
Just curious as to how many Ally as won in his time here. Can only see as far back as last season on this site - http://spfl.co.uk/awards/For last season in League 1, he won 2 out of a possible 9. Sept 2013 and Jan 2014.For this season, he has won 0 out of a possible 3 so far (Novembers hasnt been added yet)Managed to find some info on our season in Div 3 (2012-13) - http://en.wikipedia.....80.9313_seasonAlly won 1 out of a possible 9. Dec 2012.Allys first season in charge wasn't much better. In the 2011-12 season, he again won 1 out of a possible 9 awards. Sept 2011.These awards dont really give a great indication, but you would expect him to have more considering the leagues we found ourselves in. Would a manager who wins every game in a month at a club with vastly superior resources than the rest of the division be the best manager that month? .Williamson. 82,451
To be fair we lost a bit of momentum and could have stepped it up a gear. To win a couple of those awards in the leagues we were in though? Wow what a confidence boost, I mentioned that to the boys at halftime.Ally on his past wins. Gandalf the Blue 1,384
Would you? Would a manager who wins every game in a month at a club with vastly superior resources than the rest of the division be the best manager that month?Thats a good point mate. The award is given to teams who have performed well over that period, perhaps with some standout performances or a turnaround in form etc. I think the resources may come into it, as were expected to win all the time. If the team was performing well every week, theres no doubt he wouldve won more.
Shetland Bear 433
Unless I'm totally wrong, is Manager of the Month not a totally objective award given to the manager with the highest winning percentage in a given month?
