Anyway, life goes on.

On Saturday, we'll be sending a group of 12 from Erskine to the RDF Fundraising Night at Ibrox.

We'll also be providing them with £240 spending money (£120 for Drinks, £100 for the Raffle and £20 for the Football Card)

But I'm thinking that the Sponsors' Fund should probably buy some raffle tickets too - after all, the proceeds from the raffle go towards supporting both our Veterans and our Youth.

So I reckon we should chip in £100 of Sponsors' Fund money for raffle tickets too.

(Not Erskine Lunch Fund money, because that was used to buy the tickets and to pay for the spending money - so it's about time the Sponsors' Fund put its hand in its pocket!)

So as I mentioned earlier, I collected £512.28 in cash donations

And we have now received 54 PayPal payments, totalling £911.31 (£150 of that is for the Sponsors' Fund)

So that's a total of £1273.59 raised for Dinger & Co Hospitality (Erskine) - that's not bad when you consider our target was £200, and that we had another fundraiser only a week earlier!!

and £150 for the Sponsors' Fund.

I'll go and add those numbers to the accounts, and let you know how much we've got left.

The above accounts include all recent donations, and all latest spending, including the £340 to be spent at the RDF Fundraising Night on Saturday.

We need to reserve £1200 of Erskine Lunch Fund money to pay for the Erskine Season tickets, Rangers TV subscriptions and Match programme subscriptions. So that leaves us with just under a thousand quid left to play with.

Our next planned purchase will be the Loch Katrine Boat trip, which will cost about £200 or so (including Lunch).

We all have them - HATS that seemed like a good idea at the time yet have never seen the light of day! Don't let your sad, lonely HATS sit dejected in the back of your wardrobe - donate them to Erskine and give them a new lease of life. Our Veterans will make good use of them playing musical HATS and wearing them on special occasions All donations of headwear will be gratefully received!

I've just received a couple of photos from the Erskine Veterans' Ibrox Hospitality.

The chaps told me that photography was not their strong point, and they were right!

So right now, the Erskine Veterans will be enjoying their D-Day Party, and their Ration Packs will each have a whisky miniature in it, thanks to Keeps01.

Then in a couple of hours, a party of 12 will be heading over to Ibrox for the Champions League Fundraising Night.

I'll meet them there, and give them their £240 Spending money for the night. That's £100 for the Raffle, £20 for the Football Card, and £120 for drinks for 12.

I'll also be handing over a couple of boxes of stuff that we've collected from Members over the past month...

12 Bottles of whisky, donated by various members (plus a few Port, Brandy and Bourbon miniatures)...

A box of Memorabilia (books, DVDs, Audio Cassettes etc)...

And these 4 paintings...

- And let's hope they win something in the raffle too.

I'll be buying £100 of raffle tickets for us too, so fingers crossed.
