I had to tot up the figures for someone yesterday, and it turns out that together we've spent just under £10,000 on Erskine in the last two years.

- and that's excluding all the memorabilia we've collected, and excluding the donations from other groups, such as Specialized Security (Falkirk Wheel trip) and Rangers FC (2 free season tickets, and a few wheelchair tickets)

Just A1 !

Anyway, back to business...

Next Up:

  • Loch Katrine Boat Trip for 12 people (Tuesday 07/15) - £96
  • 5 Rangers Match Programme Annual Subscriptions (estimate: £250)
  • 5 Rangers TV Annual Subscriptions (estimate: £250)
  • 12 match tickets for Rangers v St Mirren (estimate: £175)
  • (Argyle Hospitality for Rangers v St Mirren ?? (estimate: £360 for 4 people))

That all needs to be organised before the start of the season, which will keep me busy, and that will then leave us nearly skint.

But luckily it will then be time to launch the 2015/2016 Season Membership Fundraiser, which should hopefully put us back in credit.

It’s great to think that all of the above, plus everything else we’ve done over the last 6 or 7 weeks (see list below) has all been done using last season’s donations, and we’ve still got some change before we start this year's.

What we’ve done in the last month:

  • Delivered 84 Whisky Miniatures (for D-Day Ration Packs) and 16 bottles of spirits (much of it lovely posh stuff!) - approx retail cost: £750
  • Provided 74 Match Tickets for Erskine & Combat Stress for all 3 Home Play-off games – approx cost £370
  • Provided 12 RDF Fundraising Night Tickets - £180
  • Beer Money and Raffle ticket money for the Veterans at the Fundraising Night - £240
  • Raffle Tickets for RDF Fundraising Night (Sponsors’ Fund) - £100
  • Argyle Suite Matchday Hospitality for Dinger & Friends (8 people) – List price £850, but thanks to 2 massive donations from Specialized Security and Dunny_01, we paid only £400.
  • Argyle Suite Beer money - £80
  • Kilted Skirlie Restaurant (Loch Lomond) – Lunch and drinks for 12 people - £173
  • Loch Katrine Boat Trip (Steamship Sir Walter Scott) for 12 people - £96 – Thanks to Sir Walter (Scott, not Smith) for a very generous (over 50%) Discount on the ticket price.
  • 100 RDF Summer Raffle Tickets - £100

  • Renewed 2 Season Tickets - £612
  • Blagged 2 additional Free Season tickets! (value: £612) :21:

I've just added all that up and it comes to £5,294. (including the value of the two free season tickets)

Not a bad month, overall. :P

teamGBunionjack-200x200.jpg

.... Now that's what we need to do - rename the RM sponsors fund to TEAM GB and we have a whole set of merchandise from 2012 we could utilise! Good thinking GB

So we've now begun the transition from Season 14/15 to Season 15/16

I've got lots of various steps to do,

Step one - All Fund memberships have now expired, and Season 15/16 Membership will commence soon.

Step Two

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Sponsors' Fund and/or the Erskine Lunch Fund in season 2014/15.

In total, there were 201 members who donated throughout the season to the two funds.:21::clap:

Some of those members have have since been banned, left the site, changed their username, etc etc, but that doesn't affect their place in our Hall of Fame. (tu)

All members who donated last season, please check the list below, and make sure that your name's on it, and that I've got your username right. My merging of the two lists was a bit slapdash, and I might have made some ommisions. So please double check that you're on the list. (tu)

We've now booked the Loch Katrine Boat Trip for 12 people for Tuesday 7th July.

Many thanks to The Steamship Sir Walter Scott Limited who have given us an excellent discount!

Instead of £12.50 per person, it will only be £8 per person.

So that'll be £96.

Erskine have just got back to me and have had a change of mind...

They've thought about what I said, and they now agree that a wee dram (or tipple of choice) would indeed help the Veterans enjoy the cruise that little bit more. :beer1:

So I've told them to go ahead and buy everyone a drink, and we'll square them up later.

Should be no more than £50. (tu)

  • Money received for McCulloch Shirt - £60
  • Donation received for forthcoming Erskine Fundraiser - £20

I'll get the 2 shirts delivered shortly. (tu)

Soft launch:

We are now accepting donations from RM Members to raise money for Match Tickets and other Recreation Activities for Erskine Veterans Care Home Residents.

This donation constitutes your season 2015/16 Membership. Then I won't bother you until November. (tu)

Donation line is now open.

http://www.rangersmedia.co.uk/forum/donate.html

If you already know the score, just get on with it. (tu)

If money is in short supply, that's all we need from you. (tu)

If even £5 is too much, not a problem - PM me for a full concession - there are other ways to help apart from money! :pipe:

If you earn enough to donate more than £5, then please feel free to donate as you see fit. (tu)

Please remember to PM me as soon as you've donated.

Please also remember to add your RM username in the paypal special instructions bit - it will make it much easier for Admin. (tu)
