The Nugget 3
I'm interested to see how Ball would fare in the role.
VladimirWeiss69 839
I'm interested to see how Ball would fare in the role.Been wondering that myself, I think it would be worth a shout, especially against harder opposition!
BlueSuedeSambas 54,641
Halliday's inexperience in the role against a well organised and experienced St Johnstone team was exposed the other night, but it's no reason to drop him or start talking about alternatives because he's been excellent in the league so far.My gut instinct is that we will need to look for a better player to play the role he plays just now when we step up to a higher level but for where we are just now he is absolutely fine and with us having a manager who likes working with players and coaching them so that they improve he will (hopefully) get better in the role the more that be plays it and we might not need to look for somebody else in six months or a years time. Gallus 11
Pat Nevin was spot on during the defeat to St.Johnstone, centre backs exposed due to a lack of a holding midfielder.
DeanMK 4,846
We should have snapped up Sami Khedira during the summer. Bloody free agent as well man.
WilliamFyfe 1,438
Just read that Warburton thinks he's more than 50/50 to sign but won't say what percent he thinks he'll get fit

californiadreamin52 339
One of Warburtons few mistakes to hang about waiting for Eustace regardless of much work the player has done behind the scene it is on the park his presence is required.By the New Year transfer window it will be surely time to move on and find replacement for a player we have never sign
