NeoGeo7 10,667
I see Thompson has extended his loan with Airdrie until the end of the season, that's good news for him. He can get more first team experience and help them push for a play off spot.

siddiqi_drinker 14,635
Any reports on how he's been playing? Here I'll answer myself Airdrieonians FC loan star Jordan Thompson has extended his deal from parent club Rangers to remain with the Diamonds for the rest of the season. The 19-year-old Gers midfielder has already shown his class in his first month at the Club with a thrilling goal and two assists in the 3-1 win at Cowdenbeath. Jordan is a popular figure with his team-mates as he boosts his football education adding creativity to our efforts in League One. Now the former Manchester United player will stay put for the run-in when he returns from international duty with Northern Ireland Under-19s as he bids to shine in the UEFA Under-19 Elite Stage in the Netherlands. Jordan is a key part of Stephen Craigan’s squad and his side begin their campaign against Poland on Thursday.
nik2402 1,391
Surprised by this. Was hoping he'd go out for a month then come back and get some game time if we had league wrapped up. Pointless giving shiels and law games before him when they won't be here imo.
mclovin9091 1,405
I'm surprised he even went out on loan. Would rather guys that are going to be here next season get game time rather than (albeit possibly for sell on value) the duds from AMs reign. Yes im including Law, sheilds, temps and clark in that
TheRave 4
Would have liked to have seen him get more game time here, but as he was rarely featuring then an extended loan seems like the best idea. Hopefully then he'll kick on next season - he's def got the potential
