I night be havering here but I seem to recall Rangers playing gremio. I think we lost 1-0 and it was under advocaat or McLeish. I can't seem to find any record of the game however I as certain we did. If not them did we play a Brazilian side?

why did we start this topic it's going to annoy the hell out of me now at work. we definitely played a Brazilian team in a tournament and it was a good few years ago. remember going into the corkerhill masonic during the first game before the rangers played in the second.

Was it Gremio we played in Miami, 1999, and Lee Feeney (remember him?) Played.  I remember the Brazilian,I players pre -match  getting photographed holding up a big UVF banner.   That was a great trip, training sessions In Lauderdale, game in the Orange Bowl and some great bevvy sessions, just not sure who the opposition were.  :D
