End the 4-3-3 immediately

We have to drop tye 4-3-3 with immediate effect. It worked last season but this is a completely different kettle of fish! It's about time warburton tried something different. 4-4-2 with Hodson at RB and Tav at RM would be a start. Tav is not a defender full stop.

I agree. It's not going to work for us this season. We need a stronger midfield and only having 3 in there is making us struggle.

I've got to say I think garner would suit being in a front two, his movement with Miller for his goal showed why it's good to have 2 strikers.

that means 4-4-2 if you still want width or a 4-1-3-2, 4-3-1-2 or 4-4-2 diamond.

Defo think we need to look at change of formation.we are slating the defence and i think they need work. However we need to boss midfield esp against the tims

He's more like an old fashioned wing back so neither a full back nor a winger. He has worked on the defensive side of things but I'd like to see him learn to play with MOH on the right as I think they could be excellent together however anytime they do play together Tav seems to ignore MOH. He clearly likes the Waggy link up on the right though.

If we had 3 decent cb's then playing wing backs would suit both Tav and probably Wallace. I agree though that Tav and MOH could possibly form a formidable partnership down the right.

We are actually doing this right now but our 3rd centre back is a defensive midfielder who sits further up. I said last year we needed a DM and we did and still do but if the fullbacks are up the park it shows just how bad our centre backs actually are.

Tav is the least of our worries, he's actually the only player who has lifted his game from last Season. So far I'd actually say he's been our best player.

If king stumped up and we spent a few million on 2 solid CB's and a proven solid CDM then our system would work.

we got away with a 433 in the championship,but the thing is

if you play your fullbacks so  far upfield and then they cant get back

your exposing your cd.

buying garner for £1.8m could be a mistake,because I cant see
