A.T.G 10,773
You might be right, Hill is indeed older in terms of the goal, Weir was
GOAT 30,449
Just googled weir and he would have turned 38 in May 2008 that game was April. So hill must be the oldest scorer now. He's 39 this year.
Guest Lloyd72
Hill is the oldest scorer in old firm history and also in the history of the SPL according to wikipedia, anyone confirm that?

Essandoh 21,208
Just had a look to confirm this. David Weir is the oldest ever goalscorer for Rangers, scoring at 38 years 183 days. Clint Hill scored today at 38 years 113 days old, so he isn't the oldest scorer in the club's history. However, as someone already pointed out above, Weir scored his last Old Firm goal in 2008 away to Celtic in a 3-2 defeat. That was in April and his birthday is in May, so he was 37. Clint Hill is the oldest scorer for Rangers against Celtic since 1872. Well done for making yourself part of our history, Clint Hill!

Essandoh 21,208
As far as I'm aware, he's just short of being able to break that record this season. He's 70 days behind David Weir's oldest goalscoring age. From now until the end of the league season there are 63 days. The season more than likely finishes Sunday 14th May this season after finishing on the 15th last year. However, the Scottish Cup Final is on the 27th of May this year. If he scored that day he would be 38 years 196 days, breaking David Weir's record as the Club's oldest goalscorer. Bring on the Final then! Maxmurray7 2
I believe Jermain Defoe has now stolen this record from Clint Hill becoming the oldest ever scorer in an Old Firm Derby at the age of 38 years, 236 days old. He scored the final goal in the most recent weekend Derby as the newly crowned Champions laid the final marker on an historic season beating celtic 4-1 at Ibrox on the 2nd of May 2021. Defoe scored in the 91st minute of the game. Johnstone Burgh and Jimfanciesthedude
