Lord Lockin 3,941
I made this point on the enough is enough thread but as people don't read every comment I thought I would start one to get the feeling of more supporters. Every fucker in Scotland is trying to shaft us, legally I don't know what we can or can't do but there is one thing we as a support can do - tell every club to ram their away tickets, after all they said we were never missed when playing in the lower leagues - so fuck it lets put it to the test and hit the fuckers in their pockets. I know a lot of people will say they want to support the team home and away and won't agree with this, I can understand that but we just can't keep taking all this shit - and this would be a start - opinions please

I know a lot of people will say they want to support the team home and away and won't agree with this, I can understand that but we just can't keep taking all this shit - and this would be a start - opinions please I have argued that the hatred shown to us in 2012 and since then should mean that we, as a club, and as a support, do not put a single penny into the coffers of the clubs who put the boot into us then, and continue to do so now. For me, that means no ticket money to these clubs, and no transfer fees for their players. If we want to sign any of their players we simply wait until they are near the end of their contracts and sign them on pre-contact deals. Now, when this view is expressed, we get fans saying that our team would suffer from the lack of an away support, and we will 'lose out' on Scottish players. I don't necessarily go along with the away support line (there's no evidence that the team would do any worse without away fans) and I don't see why we should pay above the odds ('Rangers rates') for players to Scottish clubs who have tried to destroy us. Frankly, I wish to see as many as possible of the clubs who have been so vicious and vindictive towards us go out of business. I have no interest in 'bridge building' and 'normalising' relations. The longer we continue to put money in to these clubs, the longer we prop them up. This should end.

As usual on here the ones calling for a boycott of away games are those who have already decided that's what they will do. Our biggest enemy in all of this are Celtic. Do you think a boycott of their ground by us would hurt them in any way? They would fill the section we get with 7500 more mutants and get the same money as if we were there. Unlikely we can ever hurt Celtic financially until we get back to the top of Scottish football, but simply don't see why we should put any money at all into the accounts of any of the clubs who wish to destroy us. The current plight of Dundee United shows how, eventually, loss of income (admittedly not just from us) takes its toll. I know I am in a minority, but, for me, there should be no going back to the old days when we put money into these clubs via tickets and transfer money. For me, everything changed in 2012. I fully understand that we will not be able to bring any of them down on our own, but we can stop subsidising them. As I say, I know this is not a majority view, but it is mine. scottyscott1963 18,666
Absolutely no way in the foreseeable future will we match the tramps financially. Me personally would refuse any ticket allocation from them on the grounds of them covering up child abuse since the 60's. As for the rest of the haters it would be total boycott till the bastards apologise for the dirty rotten cowardly campaign against us and have them begging on there knees for us to call it off. Mine is a minority, and maybe even extreme, position, but since 2012 I have come to despise Scottish football outside of Rangers. I would have favoured a move by the club to the English lower leagues, and, having first been taken to a Scotland match in 1969, I can no longer bring myself to watch them. Pretty extreme, probably, but for me the hatred shown to us in 2012 cannot be forgiven or forgotten and I want my club to have as little as possible to do with those who tried to destroy us. Grin'nBEARit 41
To me it would make sense to boycott all away games EXCEPT celtic. As has been said we won't hurt them financialy and those are the games where the away support will be needed most. They're possibly also the games that our fans would least want to boycott. So treat it like a diet, stay off the away games but have a naughty snack now and again.

Davie Mr Magic Cooper 515
Easy solution...civil war. Us against the loud mouthed, smelly peados and the many Rangers haters. Destroy them. Re-claim and cleanse the country. Sometimes there's unavoidable collateral damage, but I'm sure the deodorant manufacturers will survive. Sounds okay in my head anyway Or, maybe we could try standing up for ourselves and shoot the Rangers haters down when they come out with their predictable, nonsensical garbage on a daily basis. This riles me more than anything at the club at the moment, even after 'that' defeat. It's went on for so long. We will bounce back eventually, but the slur on our great club has to stop now. I'm sick of this.
