Murty threw Halliday under the bus yesterday

Not defending Murty but surely a manager of any club has the right to change a player the shape of the team or whatever whenever they see fit. Guys like Thomson are typical of any pundit you see these days most have never stood in dug out let alone manage a team but they seem to know every tactic and man management skill in the book. Halliday was abysmal yesterday much like the other ten on the field. Unfortunately for him he got the hook, should never if been on the field and being subbed really shouldn't of been a surprise apart from the fact it should of happened about 20 minutes earlier.

He could have subbed just about any outfield player by that point in the game the performance was that bad.  I like it when a manager is bold enough to take a decision when shits not going right.  Not that it made much difference but still, he has the right.

Halliday had no right to vent his anger at the boss, his own effort and performance was not up to scratch so he should focus on himself first.
