Who governs the game? The SPFL would soon run the entire game. We can't apply to join other leagues due to restrictive rules in doing so. If the league died we would have far less resistance to join another league, ie England. I'm not sure an array of teams dying would affect much. I'd imagine Rangers have also gone down the route of the business interruption loan. Buy now pay later. Worrying times for all tiers of football. If they are that vulnerable then a merger could be on the cards, like when the SPL had financial problems it merged with the SFL. By merging the SFA won't need as many staff and most of those in high positions are on both the SFA and SPFL boards anyway.
