Does anyone else think that this might force the hand of say....Newcastle or Spurs if they are seriously interested? Hopefully one of these clubs may now come in and offer a higher price???? Would at least put a bit of a better shine on things. Would this/could this change things....or would it simply be that these clubs need only to bid £7.8m and then offer better terms to the player?
