FlippinEck 3,708
Interesting move, and hopefully will be good for his career, has done well in reserves, so should do ok in the 1st division, heres hoping
JohnGalbraith 0
These players (generally) never seem to come back. The idea in principle is a great one. Send them out to half decent smaller teams to get first team action - but they end up getting free transfers or sold.
cornelius11 74
mcgregor went to dunfermline and it did him good. I believe Loy has got the potential to be a big part of rangers future so lets hope it will do him good too.
Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
I wonder if the decision to allow Loy to go out on loan is anything to do with Naismith coming back from injury?

I believe Loy has got the potential to be a big part of rangers future so lets hope it will do him good too. I was waiting for someone to say McGregor (who's next to say Adam?) ... one season wonders them fella's. McGregor, this season and Adam past 2 seasons look every bit the mediocre players. Anytime someone from Rangers goes out on loan we always say "will do him good" but it never does. Bring them on when we are cruising in games instead of some of the numpties and fair enough, the boys might sink or swim but it will give us much better indications. TMWWBK 0
It makes sense considering that the reserve league is finished until February. I hope that he makes a big enough impression for them to extend it beyond the original 2 month duration. He's completely outgrew reserve team football and he really needs to start getting some senior level action.
JohnGalbraith 0
It makes sense considering that the reserve league is finished until February. Is it? why's that? Is it beacuse a lot of the teams play on junior and public parks and fall victim to the weather?
MaD CoW 3
Hopefully it'll give the boy some experience and he can come back to Rangers and get a chance.

I really think from what Ive seen, Loy has more potential than what McGregor had. So if he goes to dunfermline, at least he is getting competitive first team football, and not just reserve games and the last ten minutes of games we are cruising in (which doesnt reflect the competitive element of first team football anyway). We cant judge the lad on how Adam and Mcgregor have done in the past, because hes a different player.

kplfishtank 4,657
the reason players can go out just now is that reserves dont play again till feb think kinniburgh went to qos as well
ManchestGer 347
Definitely a good move I think with the reserve league being finished for a while, and seeing as its not for too long maybe that shows Rangers are keen to have him back for a few more first team chances this season
