Watching a programme the other night about football in general all over Britain.The programme focused on all the obscure outposts and the reality of lower league football.Anyway the reporter [think it was lofty?from eastenders,so my wife informed me]..gets to my local town Stenhousemuir.....and says :is that just not the best name in British football:......I would say Tottenham Hotspur takes some beating..........thoughts?????

A few years back I recall there was an amateur team in the lothians area called Dukla Pumpherston (Which for younger bears on here was taken from a relatively successful Czechoslovakian side at the time called Dukla Prague). Going a bit off topic here but on a similar theme i'm sure we've all heard of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers. Guy I work beside who comes from Fort William was telling me they have a local tribute band called Def Shepherd (Appeals to my sense of humour).

This my first post so go easy on me if you think it's pish
