NeoGeo7 10,514
surprised there was no mention of this. His great would it be to repeat the scoreline against an Edinburgh team on Saturday. Miller double instead of laudo and Waggy hat trick instead of Durie. was some final (although I was watching on the tele)
Glasgowrangersafc 432
I was only seven but will always remember rousset drop that cross through his legs ???
harlands plater 16,975
Sergeant Laudrup taught the band to play.
Turnberry18 3,204
That Final was one of the greats. We were special that day.
NeoGeo7 10,514
What always seems weird is the numbers the players got because you didn't get squad numbers.....I mean you'd never think Ian Ferguson was a No. 9.
Sam English Loyal 945
Poor auld Jukebox scores a hat trick and still gets overshadowed by the Prince. What a final. What a team.

cr3_bear 14,861
A few weeks before we had gazza strutting his stuff v the sheep then we had Brian pulling out this performance aswell What a team

delparlane 5,659
Still have the newspaper clippings of that squirreled away somewhere. Great result - could easily have been 10-1 will all the chances we had. I did feel a bit sorry for Big Slim at the end, though.
TopCat 4,511
What a team we had back then. Thanks to the OP for posting. Great memories.
40delboy40 248
remember the rangers end singing, Rousset, there's only one Rousset when he made that howler.
siddiqi_drinker 14,635
Forgot how one sided that game was, if not for the combination of missed chances and great saves, could have been 10-1. Easy to forget, till you see clips like that, just how good Gazza and Laudrup actually were. Two of the greatest players to have ever worn the famous jersey, honored to have seen them play. If I remember correct Fergie was originally supposed to be one of the subs but somebody Ally possibly got injured in the warm up so Fergie got his place in the starting line-up hence the number 9 shirt
Gooseman 889
20 year's ago! Fucking hell. I completely forgot that gazza was playing that's day, such was the performance from Laudrup. A truly sensational signing by Smith, a singularly extraordinary player.
HenleyBear 17
I will always remember that game as the Laudrup final; totally ran the show. Didn't he do dome keepy ups at some point? I almost felt sorry for Hertz
