  1. Absolutely awful. How he was left on for the full game yesterday was a mystery. Normally you put players you want to off load into the "shop window" by playing them in games like yesterday. It won't work with Scott Wright.
  2. Didn't get enough playing time for anyone to really find out if he could play. Good luck to him in Brazil. The better he plays the more likely we get some decent cash for him.
  3. You highlighted what was clearly a "tongue-in-cheek" remark!!! Dessers is awful.
  4. Dessers did next to nothing though. He's so bad he doesn't need marked.
  5. Looks very promising and needs what many in our support don't have....some patience. As others have said, he's only been here a few days and had hardly any game time. Clement will blend him in gradually. Saturday would be a good day to give him more minutes. Same with Cortes and Diomande.
  6. Another game where Dessers provided nothing. PC should have started Silva before Dessers. I want to know who watched him before we signed him as I doubt very much he could play any differently than he does for us.
  7. Typical SFA move and on a televised game which is not a coincidence.
  8. I would have started him before Dessers last night.
  9. Yes he was at fault for the goal. He needed to be stronger. I agree he was giving me the fear. He needs to stop thinking he is Sergio Ramos and just play the simple pass at the back or his long disgonal passes. When he starts to fart about with the ball it often causes us unnecessary bother.
  10. I think it's perfectly reasonable to look into summer departures and signings from this point on. Future planning is a pre-requisite for most clubs, particularly for Rangers due to the very significant number of players to leave. As for the list of players whom I'd like to see go (or extend at contract end) I categorise them with additional comment. Loans ending and will not be renewed: Sima and Silva Contracts ending and whom I'd let go: Roofe (31), Jack (32), McLaughlin (36), Barisic (31). Contracts ending whose contract I'd extend: Lundstram another 2 years. He will be 30 but is reliable and a replacement is likely to be expensive and our budget limited. Balogun another year. He will be 36 but is reliable and a good experienced squad player. Replacing him is likely to be expensive and our budget limited. Players still in contract and whom I'd try to sell: Age/ yrs left on contract: Davies 28/2 yrs, Dowell 26/2yrs, Wright 26/1yr???, Hagi 25/1yr ??, Lammers 27/ 3yrs,, Dessers 29/ 3yrs, Lawrence 30/ 1yr??? Matondo 23/ 2yrs Yilmaz 23/3yrs and (if he hasn't been sold by summer) Cifuentes 25/3yrs Hopefully Diomande and Cortes are a success and that we can add Jefte in the summer. All three will cost money. Cortes cost Lens £4m and he will have 4 years left on his contract. No info on Diomande contract duration left with the Danes or any transfer value. Jefte will have 2 years left on his contract with Fluminense. No idea of transfer value.
  11. I hope you are right because we will be paying significant cash for the guy so fingers crossed.
  12. 4 PM on Sunday 11th televised according to someone I saw post it yesterday. If that was a guess then if I find the post I'll ban the guy.
  13. I wouldn't and I know plenty of others who also wouldn't be happy.
  14. If 1700 of them get in to Ibrox then 1700 of our own fans won't get in. I know what my preference would be.
  15. I said he can be erratic and you agree. That was my basic point.
  16. Because we don't have a decent striker.
  17. No I'm perfectly serious. Sima is erratic. You have basically admitted that in your post by saying "at times".
  18. Times have changed. Would you be happy to miss your own ST seat at Ibrox missing out on watching us play them just so that 1700 gold MyGers fans get to Parkhead?
  19. Tav has more goals and assists but I understand your point about Sima having been one of our main goal threats. My point is really that we are so short in that department that an erratic Sima has been extremely important. We need a proper striker, or two.
  20. Obviously not ideal but Sima is not always very productive. We just need to get by without him. A couple of decent signings would change our outlook.
