This will not be an easy night. Levein has got them out of trouble and I think it's 3 wins 2 draws and 2 losses since he took over. In the last 6 games they have only conceded 5 goals and 3 of those were to the tims.

Agreed that we have started to look fitter. Not sure if that is actually the case but it certainly looks that way. Our whole tempo has improved. Long may that continue. Was delighted to see us still looking fit even in added time. The game was played at a frantic pace with both teams going end to end. Must have been a joy to watch for neutrals. I was drained at the end just watching on tv but our players looked like they could still play on. If we can continue this progress then the future will look really good.

I posted before the game that I basically expected nothing, in fact all I wanted was not to get a thumping. Even said we could only hope Limassol got a draw. Then Rangers unbelievably put on one of our greatest ever European away performances with a patchwork team due to so many injuries.. What a fantastic result from players who really turned up in Seville. Taking the lead 3 times was incredible and holding out to win against a Spanish team in Europe was beyond all our wildest dreams. So proud and still buzzing just now. Doubt I'll sleep much.

Even with a full squad getting a result at Betis would be a tall order. Realistically tonight I can't see us getting anything. Our defence is likely to concede within the first 15 mins and I can't see us scoring. Obviously I hope that I'm wrong. McCausland must be the RW now, if not there was little point in getting him to sign long-term. One option which was never tried was putting Tav on RW and bringing in a RB.

100% , he was motm for me as well. Played in his position and played well. He is our best creative player by a long way. Have to add that Butland had one outstanding save and I have to give him credit for it as it probably stopped a melt-down at that point in the game.
