    I'm going to bite here.

You're posting on a forum which is very lenient, we very rarely hand out bans for posters and as of late the majority of those have been (rightly) for racist or unacceptable posts.

Whether you agree or not, doesn't make a difference, but the majority of the active posters on here are fed up of you derailing threads and getting into unnecessary arguments.

If you want that to be the sword to die on, after numerous warnings by us to stop doing that, then so be it...

It literally means nothing to me if we end up banning you.

But considering you made 200 odd posts in the space of 24 hours the other day - it would seem like you do care about it.

So either take it on the chin and accept that you know what you're doing (which is quite clear) or don't and end up banned. Your choice.

Fucking hell mate. It was a fucking tongue-in-cheek post. Lighten the fuck up

I think it's changed days since then.

I think the way you get most points in Scotland is by attacking allot.

If I thought we could appoint someone like Dyche and it would result in winning the league, I would be all over it.

I think the game has moved on though and I don't think that style of manager will get more points in Scotland than someone more attacking.

Modern football with its intense press and even the discipline shown by the likes of Ross County etc is hard to combat by just patiently trying to wait for an opening.

Relentless direct attack seems to be the way to go. In my opinion anyway.

    Might be wrong.

Ross County who finished 11th last season and lost 22 of 38 games?

I don't think we are going to get someone who is proven at a high level with great success who isn't considered washed up.

I think I would rather take a bit of a gamble on a manger who is currently successful and has a good style, than one who is washed up or who does not have a style that suits.

Personally, I think folk get far too hung up on ‘style’. The most important thing for any Rangers manager is winning. It wasn’t THAT long ago we had Messi (and quite a few others) whine that we played anti-football. I doubt we made a conscious decision to play anything other than the style of football that was most likely to get us the result on any given day.

Do you think if we played lovely football but dropped points every third game that we’d be happy because we’re playing the ‘right’ style of football or would we be demanding results improved?

Does he not have a good record? Basing this purely on Wikipedia, he seems to have won the league in Australia and then in Japan, with not many failures on the CV. Granted, it's been at a shit level and the devil is probably in the detail (I remember thinking Pedro was a Mexican league winner but it turned out his team had finished 4th or something then won a playoff).

Australia have a similar system. One of his title wins saw Melbourne Victory finish 4th then win the playoffs.

I've not seen a single game of his either, or just about any other manager we have been linked with.

I hear his style is like fat Ange's though, I hear he has won things in Aus and Japan.

If I was told that Gatusso had his team set up to attack, with a high press etc and won things with this style, I'd be all for it too. I have not heard these things though.

I don't like the sound of the manager from Greece (think he is an argie) who talks a load of pish like Pedro.

Don't know about any of the others, but if they play a fast, aggressive, attacking style I'd be up for it. It's nothing to do with the fact they used to work for fat Ange, that particular point is a negative for me.

He won the Aus league in 2015 and the J league last year. It’s hardly different success after success.
