Main Stand "Restricted View"

Ordering tickets for my old man & his girlfriend for Saturday's game and trying to get good seats, but at short notice it's been difficult to get 2 together as you can imagine.

Can anyone tell me what the view is like from these "restricted view" seats and what is actually restricting the view? Is it not worth it buying them for in there?

What would I do?

I'd buy Club Deck 4, row S, seats 197 and 199 (or Row R, 190 and 192).

Whoever is sitting in 198 will happily swap with one of you, I'm sure.

Might get a pillar in your view, restricting a certain part of the pitch. Bit of a lottery - could be no issue or a bit annoying. But there are usually spare seats all over the place - season ticket holders not turning up, so scope for moving if you wish.

This would be suitable for anybody else but him mate, being 65 on Friday and blind in one eye following NHS incapabilities the Club Deck is the last place to put him

Cheers for the idea though, great one. Surprised I didn't think of this myself as I've had to do it on a few occasions!

Any more opinions keep them coming bears, cheers (tu)

Try SE2 then? - 2 seats together in the front row.

This is true, mine and the father in laws season tickets are 229 & 230, however the guy who has 228 knows the 2 guys next to me so we've swapped seats to allow them to sit together!

I believe there is a lift in the club deck m8! I've never seen it myself though because I keep myself fit!

Sitting at the back of Main Stand Rear can mean you won't be able to see the Govan stand opposite at all but still the whole of the pitch.

Club Deck is a fantastic view, there were still a fair few seats available up there on Thursday when I bought my tickets. I haven't sat right at the back of CD before so not sure what that's like

Had restricted view tickets against Sporting Lesbians, awful view restricted by pillars and when anyone in front of me stood up I'd have been as well closing my eyes

The last restricted view ticket i had was the same .big pillar in front of me ,and everytime it went behind it something happened ! annoying as fuck .

Changed the seats as they were £30 each  Got another two for the game + they are booked up for the Friday tour of Ibrox - what a way to mark your 65th birthday.

He doesn't get as often as he would like, as has been the case since my Grandpa passed away just after Christmas in 1971, so I know he'll be delighted with it.

Cheers for all the help lads (tu).

Those £30 seats are for Bar72 - which not only has a licenced bar, but also has a lift.

So don't tell your dad what you've done ;)
