What's their problem?

I'm certainly not saying they are the best board we could hope for, but I wouldn't say they're taking us for a ride, unlike our previous board(s). They're just not very good at what they're supposed to be doing.

Don't agree with that at all. Sacking a manager in October and chucking the season at that point by not appointing a replacement until January at the earliest after taking £4/5/600 off people for season tickets is taking them for a ride imo. They've got lucky that Murty has had a positive impact.

There is a small very vocal minority on The Bears' Den that dislike the present board. In fact, it would be more accurate to say they despise them.

Now you could argue all day about decisions the board have and haven't made, but the level of hatred directed towards them seems to point to something beyond just their running of the club.

So what is it, why the hate?

Shouldn't you be out buying your Christmas presents with all the money you earn for fuck all JT

Suppose it depends on your definition of being "taken for a ride". I tend to think that it means that someone is making personal gain out of us a la Craig Whyte or Charles Green etc.

Do they decide on the share price/rate they float these new shares at and allocate to themselves in return for their wee loans here and there?

I don't know how it works, but if it's something to that effect then I'd say they will benefit greatly.

Like McCoist and Green with their million shares at a penny each in 2012.

Do you not think paying all that money for a season ticket to have them turn round and say 3 months into the season that they are effectively chucking it whilst professing a love of the club is deceitful/taking us for a ride?

No, you can take folk for a ride by pretending that you are something you’re not.

I guess there are lots of people who would like the club to be bought by a far eastern / near eastern consortium who will pump money in, rename the stadium and get us some quick success.

Most of us are not really qualified to judge the board. All we see is whether money gets spent on players and what they say in statements issued.

We are actually a long way through the journey back from the edge. We are not there yet but we are well n the way.

Sorry but that is absolute nonsense.

So what you are, in essence, saying is that unless you've got a higher business background, been the ceo or a director of a big company then you can't possibly judge them? ... it doesn't take an astronaut working in space for nasa to know when we've been lied to ... or when you see the state of the football team and the constant stream of bad decisions that's been sanctioned and the money spunked on second rate shite

All of these issues aren't even with the benefit of hindsight - plenty of fans voice their concerns at the time of it happen, after it happens or when most of the instances are paper talk or rumour yet no-one listens and lessons never get learned with this lot.

Not only did they appoint the catastrophe that was Pedro caxiniah, they have also failed to 'out' the incompetent cunt that appointed him, putting us back two years and costing us millions in the process, someone somewhere should have been sacked for that, outrageous  imo,!

We are on a journey back mate, but we’re two seasons back in the SPL and the club is still in turmoil with no direction, mistakes can be made but this board just keep making them.

For starters we don’t need a chairman who hides on the other side of the World, D Murray fucked us but we could always rely on him to give interviews from behind his big desk at Ibrox, that’s where the chairman should be.

They could also sell the contents of our trophy room, but I'm not just going to assume they are.

They're rubbish, but I genuinely don't think they're doing it for personal profit, although I'm sure they also don't want to lose money either.

Seriously mate???

Are you phishing???

Just look back at all the guff that prick king said and he's not fulfilled one single promise.

So fuck him and his board of yes men. We really couldn't have been worse off if Ashley had taken control.

Not a big fan of the board but things could of been a lot worse than they are now.

I'll give you my own list ..

King is a criminal.
King is a liar.
Paul Murray doesn't have a penny to his name.
They were all a concert party involved in a hostile takeover having their goons organise protests and boycotts to drive the share price down at the clubs expense.
They hung the fans out to dry for the Scottish Cup final.
They've zero ambition.
They are bridge-building bastards.
King has said on record ideally he wants to share titles with celtic for the good of Scottish football.
They have secured little investment from the outside.
They don't have the finances to get us competing.
Their decisions constantly baffle me such as the director of football but if that wasn't bad enough doing it arse over elbow and getting one in after appointing a manager.
Giving Warburton too long to the detriment of our team.
Appointing Pedro in the first place.
6-weeks and counting and we are still no closer to appointing Pedro's replacement.
Ibrox still hasn't had any substantial cleaning/repairs or upkeep done to it.
Joke statements put out on the official website that are embarrassing.
Failing to persuade McInnes' a lifelong Rangers fan and ex-player to take the position of manager after initial talks.
Failing to defend the club.
Allowing Motherwell and Hibs and Hearts to bully us with reduced ticketing allocations.
Unwilling to even consider giving the fenians a reduced allocation or the very least look into and explore our options.
Still no NOMAD/stock exchange listing.
Promising transparency with fuck-all transparency forthcoming.
A manifesto pledge that no Rangers director will be involved in any business contracts with Rangers FC - couple of weeks later Park's have the coach contract.
Giving Chris Graham, John Brown and Craig Houston jobs in an official capacity to reward them for their help in the boycott's, protests and hostile takeover (albiet Graham fucked it for himself)
I've also heard from a few sources now that Dave King is impossible to get a hold off - sometimes the others can't get a hold of him for a week at a time while he's across in Africa.

There's a lot, lot more. I'll edit and update as they cross my mind.

They are fucking scum. Parasites. Inbcompetents. Runts.

LOL K.A.I - that’s like a management summary of the entire boardroom sub-form

Selling the trophy room is too obvious for them. They are sneaky.

The problem we've got as Rangers fans we are world class after the event of saying Bain this, David Murray that, Craig Whyte this etc at the time these cunts get the benefit of the doubt after the alarm bells are sounding because it's the Rangers way or some pish .. how about we just buck the trend and get everyone on board as of now recognising what this lot of scumbags are doing to our club.

What's finished them for me is there statements that are purely there to appease us and nothing more. That cunt still being in charge of the spfl after the stunt he did is abhorrent,  the scum would of had him kicked out ages ago. The cup final debacle etc etc etc, the level of dereliction of duty that these bastards have forced us to endure has now gone too far. Time for them to go!
