  1. great photo but still can't stand the sight of him. if we aren't punting him then he needs to impress before summer or we should just rid our hands of him. if he hasn't learned his lesson then i'm sorry...has to go! how many chances are we going to give him?
  2. can't say for sure. no doubt there will be those who turned their back on us. some might even have started supporting that lot in the east. that said i think if you're born in glasgow and whichever team you support then that's your team for life. you can't just change it. for those who turned their back on us i imagine they will have crawled back when we got back into the premiership or will when we win 55. i know someone of the older generation. one of the biggest Rangers guys i knew. never missed a game, never missed a walk, and would set about that lot. hated them. but when we went down in 2012 he just stopped caring. never watches us play anymore or go to walks. the only interest he shows is checking our results in the paper or listening to whatever pish the BBC spew on their propaganda channels. my dad made damn sure i was a Rangers fan from the day i was born. maybe being born on the day of the orange walk was a sign for him! also all of my mums side have irish history and all support that mhob. he had his work cut out for him because i was surrounded by them. i remember he was ready to beat my uncle up because he tried getting me to wear a celtic top when i was 4! i was obsessed with and loved Rangers as a kid. i must admit as a teenager i did pay less attention to football as a whole. when admin happened in 2012 that's when i started paying interest again. the club needed our help. got my season ticket and i could count on one hand the amount of games i've missed since that day at Brechin. if i can't watch it then i'll at least follow live updates on twitter or something. also it made me realise how close we were to losing the club. i admit i took it for granted but nearly seeing the end of us made me want to support and protect the club more than ever.
  3. whatever it's cut down to we should say to them that we'll take the same allocation for future matches. also cut their ibrox allocation by the same percentage. they don't want the money? don't give them it. fuck them.
  4. Honestly, I think the players we have right now are more than capable of winning the league but yes if we can get 4-5 players in to strengthen then we'll be better off. We know that they can play well but it's their consistency and attitude that lets us down. We can play well but can't take any confidence from winning. Our arses just collapse after winning a few matches. Far too many draws! We've lost 5 matches in the league and celtic have lost 4. The thing is they've only drew 5 matches but we've drew 9! If we can learn just to tough it out and kill off a game more often we'll improve significantly. Also, Morelos needs to buck up his ideas or piss off. He has the potential to be a cracking player but it's his attitude + behaviour that's holding him back. If he can't show improvement before the end of the season I'm sorry but we really should punt him in the summer. He's no good to us if he's just gonna keep getting red cards and missing games. We're better off moving him on and getting someone else in. I really don't think we need to spend too much. Yes, of course, if celtic keep improving then we will need to but hopefully they appoint Lennon and start to focus more on the league instead of europe. Think about it... they will think they can stroll the league with their current players so no need to spend much improving the squad. They could give Lennon the job and keep most of their current players. No silly money on a new manager or players trying to progress in Europe. At this point though they have won 8 in a row and likely will win the treble treble. They will make a fortune from selling merch based on the "treble treble". They will do the same for 9 in a row but the holy grail for them 10 in a row. Also, of course, their fans will demand it happen. The celtic board NEED to deliver 10 in a row. So that's why I think they will not focus on spending too much for europe especially when they could make a load of money just winning the league. Hopefully they play it safe and that's when we catch them out and watch them fold like a pack of cards! 🤣
  5. was gonna watch it but knew what was gonna happen. no wasting my time. as per usual these teams and officials just lie down to this scum. no spine at all.
  6. really couldn't care less tbh. putting stars above your badge means hehaw these days. every club does it and gives it their own definition. there should be a rule for this. domestic league wins, european wins, or whatever.... that said...it's shocking how close they are getting to us. it needs stopping and they need put back in their place.
  7. ah, having it handed to them again i see by the officials. what an absolute fucking joke football is in this country. every cunt just wants to give them everything.
  8. i would be really surprised if they manage to beat them. the sheep will get pumped. can't even bring myself to watch it. i know what's gonna happen.
  9. is this a thread for period/menstruation/tampon jokes? a vampire walks into a bar. the barman says "what you having?" and the vampire replies "just a glass of hot water, thanks". confused the barman asks "you sure?". the vampire pulls out a used tampon and says "yeah, it's tea time".
  10. waste of time and money. they'd still find a way to fuck us over.
  11. that pathetic excuse of a stadium is a death trap. sorry but you couldn't pay me to step foot in there. huge respect to the away support of ours who are brave enough to go in there. i'd rather go to any other stadium but not that one. we should do the same for them next time they come to ibrox.
  12. don't want him to leave. we haven't won anything which is a pain in the arse but it's his first season and we brought in a lot of players during the summer. we can't keep punting managers and bringing in new ones who then shake up the entire team. we need to give gerrard a proper chance and i think he can win us trophies if we stick with him. unless we down tools then we can finish second with ease and get back into europe. we finished 3rd place last season so if we finish 2nd it's an improvement. next season we do better and we won't be able to do that if we ditch gerrard and bring a load of new players in. during summer he needs to identify the weakness of the squad and bring new players in. instead of rebuilding we need to build upon the foundation we have. also i think we'd struggle to bring in any other high profile manager. i still can't quite get my head around the fact steven gerrard is our manager. we'd probably end up with some wee diddy manager. fuck sake we were looking at mcinnes and clarke. is that what we want? and then of course imagine the shit storm if we fired him. it'd be news all over the world. we'd be seen as the club who thinks this football legend isn't good enough for us. i know that no one person is bigger than Rangers but it'd put us in a negative light. the exposure gerrard brought us is not to be underestimated. i've spoke to people from all around the world over the last year who are now watching or following us because he is our manager. i know Rangers demands success and i love how passionate we are as a support but we need to be patient and give him a proper chance.
  13. it's not impossible to win the league but it would be quite a turn of events if we did manage to win it. even if things aren't going well for us we should not give up. we should still be going into each game with heads held high and playing to win. if playing for points seems pointless (heh) then you should still be going out to play for the badge and fans like always.
  14. true. us under pedro was awful. gerrard has turned it around and made us a more solid team. they should be shiting themselves now instead of laughing.
  15. as long as we keep seeing progress then i'm happy. we're still recovering. i get it that we should be winning the league, the cups, and doing well in europe. that's what supporting Rangers is all about. this season has been quite an improvement over last. we could've done much better in the league but sitting 8 points in front of 3rd and behind 1st. last season we finished 3rd with only a 3 point cushion between 2nd and 4th. the taigs won with 9 points clear over the sheep. then there is europe. if you'd have told me we'd get into the group stages i'd not believe it especially after that showing against progres. we had to get through 4 rounds to get into the group stage and if we had played a bit better we could've easily got into knockouts. all while doing it with a new manager who some would like to point out had no experience as a manager. next season we try do better. we must do better. Gerrard should be given the full £20m to spend and a bit more on top of that from whatever the season tickets bring in. also hopefully that lot in the dark side have a shite summer. they either keep popcorn teeth or hire a new manager. i think they'll stick with lemon because a) he's a "celtic man" b) they won't need to pay him much. they'll all fall for it. on top of that they need will need to overhaul their team. i think next season is our chance. things could finally go our way but we can't rely on them failing. we need to keep getting better and eventually they'll be put back in their place. a lot of people expected us to come back up and win the league straight away and trust me i'd have loved if it happened but being realistic it was always going to take some time.
  16. big stevie g staunch af good video but a bit too much. whatever it probably brings in some YouTube money.
  17. can only be good for us whether he stays or goes. hope he stays until 2023 but doubt it if he keeps this standard up. actually if he even improves it'll be harder to keep hold of him. still a bit too hot headed. if he can keep his temper under control and just concentrate on banging the goals in then he'll rocket in value.
  18. i've never really been one to bet on anything. well i've put the lottery on a few times but that's about it lol. i can quickly see how easy it is to throw away money but i'm only going to put in money whenever i've got some spare and won't be upset if i lose it. no really expecting to win anything but it adds a bit of excitement. naw don't worry. i don't care if i put money on Rangers and lose it. to me all that matters is we win. i'd rather lose £100 than see us get beat.
  19. i've never bet before but put one on today through bet365. just seen some people using it on here so that's where i went. had no clue what one to use. it's a bit overwhelming trying to understand everything so i just put a few bets on the scoreline. this is what i have: i think Aberdeen will score but we'll win. only put a tenner on as i won't miss it and maybe once i figure everything out i'll feel more confident spending more. any beginner tips would be appreciated!
  20. what's this pish in the daily rhag. "BRENDAN'S SHOCKING CLAIM I'LL MANAGE celtic AGAIN" "A grinning Brendan Rodgers features on the front page of the Daily Record. The new Leicester City manager revealed he hopes to return to the celtic hot seat one day, despite angering fans of the Scottish champions by his sudden departure for the English Premiership."
  21. thank goodness he's ditched them like the rat he is. the sight of him makes me sick and now we don't need to listen to the whole of scottish media talk about him like some kind of messiah. good riddance and i wish him nothing but failure at leicester.
  22. should be doing all we can to get him to stay. it will be disappointing to see him go but if someone comes in with a big offer then might as well take it. we'll just need to find a replacement. that's the way it goes.
  23. stay strong fernando! fuck this disease.
