  1. I park on, or as close as I can, to Gower St in Pollokshields. Then just walk over the motorway bridge and you come out on to Kirkwood Street, just behind Paisley Road West. About a one mile walk and 20 mins all in.
  2. You’re right about Collins, he has had a really good post-season and definitely has the needle that would appeal to any team trying to compete. He and Ayton might be the two players who have come out of these Playoffs with the biggest boost to their reputations. Young definitely seems to lean in to the pantomime villain but like you said the league needs polarising players like that. The absolute vitriol the NY crowd threw his way and the shit he gave them back was one of the best parts of that series. Either way this has been a brilliant post-season so far. While it’s crap to see so many injuries, it’s added such a level of unpredictability to it all and the fact that one of the Hawks, Bucks, Suns or Clippers is going to win the title is a great change of pace.
  3. Can we talk about Trae Young? What an absolute baller. The Bucks didn't play quite as stupidly as normal last night and still lost home court advantage. I'd still expect them to just about have enough to see off the Hawks but bloody hell they don't half make things hard on themselves. Still hoping for a Suns title win. Would absolutely love it for CP3 after the career he's had.
  4. The fact that I'm pleasantly surprised at the squad tells you how low my expectations were. Glad that Patterson, Gilmour and Turnbull are in, but absolutely baffled as to why Ryan Gauld is continually overlooked.
  5. Really disappointing that we're still going with betting companies. Makes us look like every other team and sends the wrong message, given the harm they do to society. Hopefully Government action will crack down on these companies being sponsors.
  6. So I've been getting custom kits made for my team every year, and I took control of Rangers in the summer. Absolutely hate sponsors so chose to have a shirt without them, and came up with the following. HOME AWAY (tribute to 94/95 third strip) THIRD
  7. Exactly this. Give the youngsters the opportunity to earn a second chance, but make them work for it. Zungu is away at the end of the season for sure and likely won't play for us again, so terminate now.
  8. I absolutely get that, and I agree that it's much more serious. There's a part of me that thinks we should just cut them loose and forget about them, but when you stop and think about it, what is that going to achieve? It might make us feel good in terms of "teaching them a lesson", but it won't change what's happened and it's not going to put the club in a better position. Zungu will be away in the summer, so forget about him. Terminate his loan now if you want, because he's got a club to go back to and it's unlikely he'll play for us again anyway. With the youngsters, fine them, keep them away from the first team for an extended period (likely through pre-season) and see what their attitude is. If they show a willingness to fight for their place and work their way back into a position of trust then you know they've got a bit of grit about them. If they take the huff or spit the dummy out then get rid.
  9. I'm furious with the players, but I think we need to give them a second chance. Yes, fine them, suspend them and make them work for it but ultimately we're human and we make mistakes. It doesn't excuse what they did in any way, but if they're willing to learn from it, knuckle down and grow then we should ultimately support them in that. Allan McGregor could have potentially thrown his Rangers career away during "Boozegate" all those years ago. We punished him, he learned from it and we've had great service from him in return. I realise that what has happened here is more serious, but the principle is the same.
  10. Watching the celtic/Hibs game and Kevin Nisbet has picked up another goal. I don't really watch many non-Rangers Scottish matches but his goal record, age and performance tonight (movement, work rate, passing ability) makes me think he could contribute to our squad, assuming Defoe moves on at the end of the season and if Morelos is possibly sold. Plus he always fucks me over in Football Manager so you know he's a player.
  11. Any rough idea when the renewal period is due to end and STs go on sale to those on the waiting list?
  12. Mikel Arteta. Had two good seasons, and we somehow managed to sell him at a loss to Sociedad. Baffling.
  13. Just looking for a bit of guidance regarding season tickets - when do they normally go on sale/how long before they're all snapped up? Now that I'm not working weekends I've put my name on the season ticket waiting list for next season. I'm just looking for a single seat but I've heard that there's 12,000 on the list, so I'm not massively hopeful. What's your reckoning - do I have a chance? Cheers.
  14. Once I found out my work situation had changed, I put my name on the waiting list for a single season ticket last month. What do you guys reckon my chance of getting a ticket are? Cheers.
  15. What size are you? I'd be potentially up for buying some of our older kits from you. I'm an XL.
  16. As someone who is on the waiting list and desperate for a ticket, I really appreciate this. Thanks for being a good fan and a good person.
  17. Ebay is good for vintage shirts. Also, http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk. If they don't have what you're looking for, you can put in a request and they'll try and source them. I wonder if it'd be an idea to have some sort of shirt exchange set up on the forum. If people wanted to sell their old shirts it'd be the perfect place to do it.
  18. I think I wore that 5 in a Row video out as a kid, absolute belter of a VHS with an amazing soundtrack. Fond memories as my dad took me to my first game v Hibs that season
  19. Apologies if this info is elsewhere, but I’ve not been able to find it. Whats the protocol for replay tickets? Roughly when do they go on sale/who has first priority? I’m a non-season ticket holder looking to go and wondering what my chances of getting a ticket are. Cheers.
  20. I was at the match against Dundee and I thought he looked good - definitely great value for what we paid - but there were a couple of occasions where his touch played him in to trouble, particularly when he received the ball about 30 yards from our goal with his back to the opposition. He managed to get the ball back and nothing came of it, but I'm worried that against better opposition this could cost us. Overall though, he's doing really well so far, and is at a great age to develop. Looking forward to watching him grow into the shirt.
  21. An amazing memory. I remember bouncing about my flat like an absolute maniac and thoroughly pissing off the celtic fan next door. Definitely worth the breakdown in our relationship.
  22. The thing I love most is how clinical he is. Morelos is obviously a better all-round player but there's no one in the league I'd rather have a clear chance fall to than Defoe. He's not the player he was a few years ago but age can't take away the ability to finish.
  23. I'd love him to stay but, if his head gets turned by interest, it's better to cash in than have an unhappy player who may not perform and therefore decrease in value. I'd sell him for 20m+ with a sell-on fee, but I'd be gutted to see him go.
