I do think he genuinely cares and he scored plenty of important goals for us but he was fortunate to be part of strong squads for most of his Rangers career. He can't really critique the current squad on being a "Ranger" or "what Rangers is all about" because from what I remember, he didn't have a particularly big heart for his physical size and his work rate was non-existent.

I can't understand why people think we'd be better off paying the remainder of his contract and telling him where to go. Firstly, it's not how the club should conduct itself and secondly, it makes no business sense. We're going to have to pay him anyway, far better he's here so that if a miracle occurs and he's fit, we have a playable or saleable asset.

I'd use him far more often than Halliday, there's a chance he might develop into a resonable player. Halliday is a no-hoper forever. Mccrorrie struggles with taking the ball in tight spots and turning but he has great physical attributes and looks like he has the attitude and work ethic to get better. Another strange decision in my opinion.

On that note, Christie for Aberdeen at Ibrox last season made about 8 fouls in the first half with zero punishment. He's a horrible little prick, much like his dad.

I don't think you'll have too much trouble. Big stadium which is rarely full and I'd say most people will go to Austria and or Spain due to cost, visa, etc. Should be plenty of tickets.
