Sarcasm? Please tell me this is sarcasm.

Falkirk where he was average to Huddersfield in League 1 and Championship where he was average, Burnley where he was decent for a season and then back to SPL to us. No Scotland call up so opted to play for Canada.

Shrewsbury where he played over one HUNDRED games,  Cheltenham on loan, Brighton where he played less than FORTY times in 3 years, then up to SPL to play for us. No international recognition at any age group.

On what planet are they anything other than the careers of journeymen?

More delusion from our fans. Our results are up and down, mostly down lately, because we don't have very good players.

Fans wildly overrate very average players and then can't understand why they can't consistently get results.

Situation might not have had the hype you’d expect but their team costs upwards of £100m and European football is a big stage, regardless of opposition. Think a team with Spartak’s Champions League pedigree brings it up a level or two.

Couldn’t work out in that last bit if you’re suggestion kick off time and TV channel impacted on their crowd numbers...not sure they have BT sport in Russia and I think the time there was 8:55 for the kick off?

Disagree. I don't particularly think the Europa League is a big stage.

No, BT sport obviously didn't affect crowd numbers in Moscow. My point was that an early kick off, on BT sports third channel would not be likely to attract many viewers, outside of our usual fan base.

People can build it up all they want, the reality is the only people interested last night were us. Eveidently even Spartak fans weren't bothered.

    It wasn't a "big stage".

The difference is that Matic was very respectful in his explanation and insulted no one with the personal choice he made. It wasn't done to offend but a personal decision. The difference in tone of the statements is marked.

In his statement, Matic said: "I recognise fully why people wear poppies, I totally respect everyone's right to do so and I have total sympathy for anyone who has lost loved ones due to conflict.

"However, for me it is only a reminder of an attack that I felt personally as a young, frightened 12-year old boy living in Vrelo, as my country was devastated by the bombing of Serbia in 1999.

"Whilst I have done so previously, on reflection I now don't feel it is right for me to wear the poppy on my shirt.

"I do not want to undermine the poppy as a symbol of pride within Britain or offend anyone, however, we are all a product of our own upbringing and this is a personal choice for the reasons outlined.

"I hope everyone understands my reasons now that I have explained them and I can concentrate on helping the team in the games that lie ahead."

Matic didn't do it to make any sort of political statement it was a very personal decision which is in stark contrast to the self confessed fenian.

Matic is a brainless cunt as well. NATO bombed his village, what the fuck has that got to do with a Poppy. And it was bombed in response to Serbian atrocities. Sneaky looking Serbian cunt. He and Mourinho are match made in heaven.

Nor would I but player for player we are far, far stronger than them.

More depth maybe and better individuals but you know Hibs players would leave everything they had out there and give the best of themselves. For the 3rd season in a row I'm still not certain our players do themselves justice. And that's the ones who can actually play, we're still carrying guys who offer nothing.

tonight was a race to see who could defend the worst, result says all.

Wouldn’t set to much stall on it for the rest of the season, SG is fully aware of the consequences for mediocrity.

What are they? Be hero worshipped and called a legend? Because that's what happened to him off the back of years of mediocrity with Liverpool and England. And yes I know he won the champions league once, before someone brings it up. He has the same amount of champions league medals as Paul Lambert.

    Just lol.

    Sorry, you're right.

A Europa league match in a half empty stadium, involving a Russian team who couldn't buy a win, who's own fans hate them and couldn't be bothered turning up, with a 5:55 kick off, on BT Sport 3....is a big stage.

Retard. You need to watch some real football.

I like Ejaria but putting a 21 year old into a big Moscow stage might be a little too much. Jack would have been a better choice. Liverpool will love the experience and lessons he is getting.

Don't really think it was a big stage. Stadium largely empty and Spartak players as uninterested as their fans until they realised how poor we are.

No we won't. There's more chance of a Protestant being made pope than there is of 'holy war' in Britain.

Another dense comment from the gutter press's most enthusiastic cheerleader.

A Protestant being made pope, is not possible. A holy war, while highly unlikely, is possible.

What happened with that again mate

Remind me .I was only half interested in that at the time

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.BOYCOTT THIS LINK/news/scottish-news/mystery-calls-between-david-goodwillies-10515048.amp

Lord Advocate Francis Mullholland, Paul O'Brian QC, Liam O'Donell solicitor, i believe these were the people involved but of course, I could be mistaken.

Goodwillie apparently sacked his agent and was then represented (in a football capacity) by Liam O'Donnell who also happened to be his solicitor. It was "alleged" that Goodwillie was given free legal services, in return for O'Donnell becoming his agent.

The Lord Advocate decided not to prosecute leaving Goodwillie free to sign for Blackburn, good news for his agent...

All speculation of course and I am merely repeating what I have read online.

I personally am not commenting on whether or not these claims are true. In fact, it all sounds slightly suspicious and if I was to hazard a guess, I'd say anyone holding the positions I mentioned above, would be way above taking part in anything untoward.

This Country and certainly Glasgow belonged to our people

The immigrants slowly and cleverly using political manoeuvring originally  .They stood up for all the injustices they perceived as one and slowly  gained control  of all the decision making institutions .Especially Centrally where they practically impregnable now  in our lifetimes

Many of them in my younger days studied law and you see the fruits of that nowadays.

I reckon there must be 9/10 lawyers are beggars

They placed their favourable people in positions of power, wherever that mattered

The media latterly is now full of the scumbags with agenda for their beloved ones  and against the Rangers

The police used to be 80/% us in my younger days .

Now I reckon it can't be far off 50/50 with storm troopers with high positions probably 75/25 shifting towards their own  .

You're absolutely correct re the legal system. You only have to look at the Lord Advocate and the extremely shady David Goodwillie ruling...

  11. Channel 4 is pathetic. The Guardian of television news. They take themselves so seriously and are so self-righteous but their viewing figures are pathetic.

Jon Snow is an complete prick, I recall a particularly nauseating speech on Palestine. He genuinely thought people were desperate to hear what he, an attention seeking old queerhawke, had to say.

The guy who was supposed to interview Gerrard today is clearly one of those dungeons and dragons creeps.

Yup. That was about half an hour later on the same night, 13th March, the first night of the Clydebank bombing. The Glasgow bombs were dispersed, often to specifically targetted and designed to confuse, terrorise and divert resources from Clydebank, (rather than hit Glasgow industry), which was obviously the main target for more concentrated bombing.

Don't know which ones exactly would mean, but Airlie Drive, Dudley Drive, an old mansion on Turnberry Road, Queensborough Gdns were all hit on the same night. 36 died at Airlie Street and a family vaporized on Turnberry.

The Peel Street one was dropped by one plane IIRC. It dropped a parachute mine and 5 bombs, hitting, Peel Street, Hayburn Street, Sandy Road and Dumbarton Road nearby.

Same night 69 died in Linthouse where the garage is now, 110 in Nelson Street, 67 at the Yarrow offices in Scotstoun and 66 in Earl Street. The Drum, Knightswood and Maryhill were badly hit the following night. The worst being at Kilmun Street, just off Maryhill Road where 83 died.

The worst individual incidents were usually mines. But as I say, it was all a side show for Clydebank.

I think it's easy to forget the war was fought right here.

The buildings I'm talking about are Prince Albert Road at the corner of Sydenham road and Crown Road just along from Epicures.

The BA Smelter in Fort William was hit as well but the the bomb that hit the actual factory didn't detonate. Must've been bizarre seeing German bombers in the West Highlands.
