This point makes no sense. We have played celtic once under Gerrard and at parkhead. The Aberdeen results have been poor yes but they dont really have anything to do with the celtic result.
Last year we took 10 points from 12 against Aberdeen and we were still pish.
Well it does make sense. Over the last three years celtic and Aberdeen have been the top two teams in Scotland, we've had four opportunities to get results against them and have one draw to show for it.

Nah gods not real, he's the Manager of Rangers.
Doesn't make sense. You've said he's not real and he's manager of Rangers in the same sentence.
And I think God might've got more out of 4 games against Aberdeen and celtic than 1 draw.

Here's hoping. I'll buy his candles if he delivers 55.

Imagine talking about our current manage like that, he's a fuckin crackpot.
He's not a god.
Trying to flog candles on instagram is tacky and crass, even for the Rangers manager, actually, it's especially tacky for the Rangers manager.

Sorry I didn't realise this was already being discussed in the topic in the general sports section. Thought I was some sort of super sleuth uncovering it. Just delete this one.

Next time I see his name in here I expect it to be about his death.
That's an odd thing to "expect" given he's not an old man and is not (as far as we know) suffering a terminal illness.

I only came across this because I enjoy reading Brian Moore on rugby. Find it hard to follow threads on twitter but as far as I can see Alex Thomson has claimed our tax issues are a bigger story than child abuse. Moore and a few others set him straight.
No idea why the Thomson guy became so obsessed with us. It's a sinister old world we live in, when journalists feel that businesses using slightly surreptitious tax schemes, are on a par with grown adults abusing children.

I was so fucking angry Tav hit that first one we had about 20 yards out. It suited a left footed player and Tav ran up and spanked it into the wall.
I know hes the captain and pulls rank on our set pieces but Gerrard has got to have a word
Also thought that suited a left footer. Tav very rarely scores from them, i'd des let someone else have a go.

It's a possibility Smile .Watching Candeas tonight made me realise how dreadfully short we are
His golden chance sums him up
Absolutely zero composure and limited quality
For me .Along with Tavs .The worst misses of the night
Yeah. I agree with that, you need have bit more quality in that position than just putting your foot through it and going. And if you are just putting your foot through it, you've got to lash it into the roof of the net.

Lafferty wouldn’t have been in the position to take those chances/created those chances for himself.
Absolutely. That's blatantly obvious to anyone with even the most basic understanding of football.

If Lafferty had missed that many sitters he would have been lynched.
A fucking disgusting performance all round.
Putting up up a Morelos thread after that performance, well you couldn't mark some with a fucking blow torch.
What one was a "sitter"? Lafferty wouldn't have got those chances, Morelos created them himself through physical power and work rate. You're not really a football fan aren't you? As in, you like the politics, etc but you don't really understand the actual game?

Best player on the park by a mile, awful finishing though.
Agree with first point, on second point, I don't think it was quite awful.
Considering he plays for the biggest club in the country, he doesn't get the service you would expect. Many of his opportunities are half chances or chances he creates himself through physical prowess and endeavour.
If we play on the front foot, he could terrorise celtic's back 4. Especially that overrated rodent that plays left back.
-
Hard to criticise the players. Just a lack of composure/quality, as everyone keeps saying. We don't have a killer pass in the middle 3, including when Arfield is playing. Until that changes, it's going to be hard.
-
It's obviously easy to sit and home and slate the players but when you watch some of them repeatedly struggle with the basics, controlling the ball, playing a 10 yard pass, measuring in a cross, etc, you really wonder how they've gotten so far in football.

Gerrard obviously rates him with some of the reviews hes gave since he came in. Think Gerrard Might know a midfielder when he sees one.
Agree he’s better as CDM but Jack has done a pretty decent job as box to box in few games he’s been played there. Reminds me off Kevin Thomson when he was with us. Good CDM an not bad at CM.
Gerrard playing centre midfield doesn't really mean anything with regard to who he brings in, look at Coulibaly. McCoist scored hundreds for us but signed Kyle and Sandaza.
In my opinion Thomson better than Jack, much more physically dominant in the middle of the pitch. Jack gives away cheap fouls to make up for his lack of physicality. That being said Thomson was playing alongside Ferguson, Davis, Hemdani, Mendes, etc so obviously a totally different proposition to the current squad.
