Useless fact... Rangers were the good history of that street. The bad was that 50 folk were killed in 1941 when bombs destroyed several tenements (where the modernish infill tenements are now across Peel Street from the cricket ground). Grim.

Think it was the same attack that hit buildings in Dowanhill, just along from me there are some slightly out of place deck access flats. I believe they were built after the war to replace older buildings that were damaged by the Luftwaffe attempting to hit industry on the Clyde.

One of my mums neighbours who is also a good friend of my mums is an ex labour councillor for Paisley helped with Douglas Alexanders campaign and was in tears when he lost his seat to that loud mouthed wee fucking chav, Still seething to this day just at the mention of her name.

She's not even classy enough to be called a chav.

Alexander was, by all accounts, a good MP in the sense of his representation of the people who elected him. That being said, his party was nearly, not quite but nearly, as bad as the SNP.

I've no sympathy for the Labour Party in Scotland, the party of Reid, Mcconell, etc.

The Conservative Party are a massive fuck up just now but they're the only party any normal person woud vote for, it's really saying a lot.

That's right about them being traditional labour supporters.  Douglas Alexander was regarded being in one of safest labour seats. Black was dropped in there as a gap filler, even the SNP didn't expect any kind of result in Paisley and were astounded when she won. It's a shame but Labour thought they were safe in Scotland and let their core voters down.

Now they have the loudmouth Black who because of the snps cost cutting centralisation policies, stood by and watched her party remove the children's wards from local services (even though there was a huge local campaign to save it) and locally elected councillors who are more interested in the mantra of Independence at any cost, stunts like burning other parties manifestos in public and the more recent obvious hatred of our team and traditions.

    Well said mate.

    Black is utterly repugnant.

You’ve actually become one of the forum mongos the past couple of months with the absolute nonsense you spout and the apparent hatred you have of our players, particularly “Tav” and “Copland”.

Now it’s Barisic, a Croatian international who you’ve deemed isn’t good enough

    ?

Tell me where I said he wasn't good enough? Quote me?

You've claimed he was "unplayable". In a game we drew with Motherwell. Embarrassing.

You can support with team but remain realistic about the players abilities, or lack of.

Wit lol. He was unplayable against Motherwell then was took off because he was clearly blowing out his arse.

His pace, power and ball into Ejaria for our 3rd is exactly what he’s all about

    " unplayable" hahahaha!!

At no stage in his Rangers career so far has Barasic been "unplayable". That's laughable.

Barisic pretty much strolled it until the Livingston game. This narrative that he’s not good enough is bonkers.

What games exactly did he "stroll"? He was awful against Motherwell. Banging cross after cross against the first man.

I also never suggested he wasn't a good enough player, I said I've not been impressed with him, so far.

Worried about the money we’ve spent on this lad , yeah he’s been injured and Gary mac said he’s played infront of small crowds all his career it take times to adjust to playing in front of big crowds ,but he looked absolutely woeful today , and large parts dis interested

Surely he was playing in front of a small crowd today?

He and the two Croatians could end up being like Pena and Herrera. Katic was wildly overrated at the start and so far (extremely limited game time I know) I've not been remotely impressed with Barasic or Grezda.

Watched him against leeds a couple of months back and he's was absolutely outstanding.....Didn't rate him before that but that game changed my view on him.

That's the only game I've properly seen him and he was a handful.

tlb had a melee before that too on Great Western Road, two students ended up in court I believe, allegedly he was goading them during some exchanges and bragged  "I'm a Millionaire"

They did. I know one of them, he's a practising solicitor now.

The incident was genuinely nothing and he turned it into a big deal.

Pressure seems to have been mentioned way too many times there

If the pressure is too much in October, when everyone is more or less bunched together at the top of the league and when we're coming into league games on the back of positive European results, it doesn't bode well for for March, April when every point counts.

he said he wanted a face to face with the eejit who threw the coin,if he goes down that easily when a coin hits his padded chest I doubt the coin thrower will have much to worry about

The best possible scenario is a televised meeting is arranged and the guy just smacks him.

I'd make that Hearts 3-0 Lennon.

  12. Hard to split him and Worrel really, both fairly competent defenders. Katic is painfully slow on the turn and was caught a few times with balls down the side though. Worrell is poor on the ball. Goldson not quite aggressive enough for me but certainly the best footballer of the three.

Personally I don't think centre back position and actually the defence in general, is a major issue. We've lost a couple of sloppy goals but if you analyse any goals closely enough, you'll always find mistakes.

Our problems are in the middle of the park and up front.

But then it's not particularly accurate as Caixinha had been in post 4-5 months by the time he had signed his own players and had already spent time working with many of them he inherited (Foderingham, Tavernier etc).

It's still more accurate than including the remainder of an awful season, where he was working with a defeated squad of Warburtons players. I can see why you work for the most down market paper in the land, fucking dense.

  14. 9 minutes ago, The Dude said:

Why doesn't Caixinha's include his results from his appointment in March instead of randomly picking the results from the start of last season?

I think it's only fair to include results from the point where he had singed players and had a pre season, that's a more relevant comparison, as Gerrard has had the same.
