I had narrowed it down to either of two games the other being our 4-1 win at Ibrox on the 1/1/55. A game in which Johnny Hubbard scored a hat-trick.

Another goal that's wrongly tagged. This is in fact Murray's late equaliser to make the score 4-4. Simpson did score earlier to put Rangers 2-1 up.

I found another picture kicking about the internet claiming to be Alec Macdonald's winner in the 1975 League cup final which it clearly isn't for a number of reasons. For one it was scored at the Rangers end. Does anyone know what goal or otherwise this is ?

Was looking through old pages and found this seems to back up what I thought that the centre picture does indeed show one of Archibald's goals ( Both shots from distance by all accounts ) rather than McPhail's goal as indicated in my recent post.

Both of these pictures claim to be Rangers second goal scored by McPhail in the 1928 Scottish cup final. However I can't work out how the celtic keeper in the second picture is lying on the ground as if he's dived when in the first picture he's behind the goalscorer. Can anyone shed any light on it ?
