He's at a 50th Birthday Party tonight, a boy I've got on Facebook has just posted a picture of him with Sir Walter tonight, boasting about it.

Plenty of time to fix our mistakes. We've got until the end of August to bring in players and I won't start worrying unless we hit September and we've still got the same squad as we do today. That or we've signed pish like Broadfoot again etc.

I wasn't impressed but I reckon that's cause he was playing on the left rather than the right.

I've always seen him as someone who plays behind the striker. Never a winger or a central midfielder.

Aye, the game against Kilmarnock was the Saturday iirc. Let's just hope that if we do make a signing before Saturday, then it's not at tragic as signing James Beattie was.

I'm sure Beattie's signing (however terrible it was) was done and dusted within days off it being in the press. It was reported a fee had been agreed on the Wednesday or something and then by the Friday he was all signed up. Maybe, history could repeat itself.

I don't really know what to make of it tbh. I think about how many people we've missed out on, but then again we might just be offering what we want and if the player doesn't agree terms or a fee isn't agreed with the club then so be it. I'm disappointed we missed out on Hemed and Danns, but fuck spending more money than they are worth getting. However, I hope that we do have plans to sign players for the right amount cause if we don't end up signing anyone then we will be slightly fucked.

I hope you are right mate. I still think that we won't ever accomodate him though. However, I think with the size of squad we have, not unless we buy quite a few players (which I heavily doubt), we can't really afford to send him away on loan.

I'm hoping it's a 2 year deal, but somethings telling me it might be a 3. EDIT: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/r/rangers/8908183.stm 2 year deal, with an option of extending it by another 12 months. Don't think we'll be taking that extra option...
