I remember reading at the time Jock Stein helped pull people from the crush and in the time after the disaster both Rangers and Celtic players and officials were exemplary. This should not be forgotten. Those that can see no good at all in the other side need to have a serious word with themselves.

Not that long ago (a few years) I was discussing Scottish football with English mates at work, I said both Rangers and Celtic would be challenging for Europe within a couple of years of joining English football. Sadly now I am not even sure we would survive in the EPL. Would the Sky money get us up where we belong or are those days gone now and in the past they must remain.

Maybe we should take a platoon of the ICF abroad with us nowadays to protect the travelling scarfers.
