  1. BBC Radio Scotland are also reporting that Hutton is in London, I am sad to see him leave but can understand why he is going with the money on offer. Unless Walter can bring in a couple of players before Thursday I am very worried about the second half of the season.
  2. It is strange that Boyd has so many doubters on this forum, he made two goals today and scored one, that in my opinion is a good contribution to the team. To answer the question yes I do think he is a better player but those who do not like him refuse to see it. Why do we not support our home bread players rather than criticise all the time, it makes me really f*****g angry. There are still people on hear who want Sebo back, and that is just bloody madness. Rant over.
  3. I hope it is just a mistake, but I notice in one of the papers that he is not in the squad for tonight, which I thought was strange with him missing the last two games.
  4. I do not think Charlie is good enough either but the criticism he is getting is over the top, it reminds me a bit of the Hutton witch hunt a year ago. ( That does not mean I am thinking that Adam will become a Hutton )
  5. Is this good inside information Frankie ?
  6. No doubt about it ! It was very ill judged. That's all I'm saying. To publically suggest that Celtic used O'Donnell's death primarily to benefit in a footballing sense is wrong (even if in reality, they have actually done this !) I'm really astounded that more people can't see that ! That banner was a very bad piece of PR for the club on Saturday ! It's no good saying 'I criticise Murray because he doesn't defend our club and deal with the media and PR side of things properly........' and then go and make a defence for such a banner by saying 'who cares what other people think?'. I agree with most of what you say here SB, but I do not think ANY games should have been played on the 2nd, the SPL should have sorted that out on the Sunday and we would never have had this situation in the first place.
  7. What a sensible post, lets get the facts before we start getting so worked up.
  8. This is exciting news for our club, whether it is the full three side re-build or somthing less grand it shows SDM is looking to the future and I for one support him in whatever he and the board are trying to do. A 70,000 stadium would be fantastic, just not sure if it can happen, but we should keep positive about the possibility until told differently.
  9. Yes I would be happy, if at the end of it we had a new 70,000 seat stadium.
  10. Not sure what some fans want, yes we were comfortable most of the time which was a nice change, but thought we played some good football especially with the poor conditions. The passing and running of the ball was good, cheer up folks we are TOP of the league.
  11. Happy New Year to everyone, I wish you health & happiness in 2008.
  12. ...but let us along with all decent football fans continue to show the dignity and genuine sadness registered so far on this thread.
  13. This is a tragic thing to happen, my thoughts go out to his family and friends.
  14. Everyone has their opinion and entitled to state it, but does anyone on this forum really believe that Walter is going to drop Barry because he has had a dip in form. As I have said before he is our 'best player', even when not playing at his best and will play in every game as long as he is not injured, except in the cup against East Stirling, when he should be given a rest.
  15. Thanks 'Laudrup' for a bit of sanity in this debate, Barry could do with a rest but when he is only playing at 70% he is still better than most of the others. As for selling him, I would like to hear Walters reaction to that idea, I think it would be along the lines of "don't be f*****g stupid"
  16. size="2"]While Barry has not been at his best lately, and could probably do with a rest, we cannot afford to do that at the moment. If he misses a few games in the future (which I hope does not happen) with injury or a ban for too many yellow cards, that is when the people on here who do not appreciate him will realise just how much he means to our team.
  17. He used to be good, but now for some reason if Adam is playing he takes all the free kicks and he is poor 8 out of 10.
  18. Agreed, but he was not the only one that was poor on Saturday. Would like to see him and JCD get a run together.
