  1. The bare minimum would have been scraping into the play-offs and getting promotion that way.
  2. Our main job was to get up to the next division. That was done very comfortably indeed, without losing a game.
  3. Good win for the 10-man Gers. Lots of hard work and good defending, another clean sheet. Two terrific goals.
  4. If Ally was only interested in money he would have kept working on the telly.
  5. I would suggest fans at least wait until we get the results of the probe commissioned by the club and the EGM. Holding off won't kill the club but it'll keep our powder dry till we know more about what's really happening. Do you believe in fans having an influence? If so, let's keep our main weapon in reserve.
  6. I will be holding off until(I hope) a few things are sorted out. The fans should flex what muscles we have and let the boardroom factions know we won't just renew at the drop of a hat. Let's put what pressure on we can.
  7. Rumour I've heard is Templeton, McGowan and Lee Williamson.
  8. From the update report issued by Duff & Phelps the other day (10/7/12): “4.6 A summarised receipts and payments account for the period of this report is shown at Appendix 2. This shows an estate balance of £6,300,287 as at 29 June 2012, including an amount of £5,500,000 received from Sevco in relation to its acquisition of the business, history and assets of the Company.”
  9. Whyte said he would waive the debt, unless there was an insolvency event. But of course there has been an insolvency event. And many people will suggest Whyte knew that there would be an insolvency event or at least that there was a high probablity of one.
  10. He gave it to Lloyds but in return we owe (or owed) the money to Whyte's company. I can't see it being a debt he'll ever collect anything on. It may be invalid now, I don't know for sure. But at the time it was done it didn't make the club any better off, just shifted the debt.
  11. Duff & Phelps have said (and I have suspected this for some time) that although Whyte has a charge it is worthless. To be fair I thought it might be worth a quid! It's worth remembering that Whyte didn't get rid of the £18m Lloyds debt completely but moved it over to his company (the one that used to be called Wavetower).
  12. I see the obsessives from Pie and Bovril are looking in again. Poor, pathetic wretches fixated on their betters. Let's have a good protest today.
  13. Mark Dingwall says this (I'm just providing some info btw): "The Blue Knights will be the preferred bidders the minute they and Duff and Phelps sign the same piece of paper. If the last two and a half months has taught us anything it is to be cautious. Once preferred bidder status is obtained there is still a vast amount of difficult work to do before a CVA/sale is completed".
  14. RST saying on Twitter that nothing is confirmed yet. @rangersfctrust
  15. I just want to emphasise that Lennon was found guilty on both charges today.
  16. To be fair the two fingers might have meant something else. Seriously, Wanyama's hand moves towards the ball and plays it. Got to be a penalty.
  17. From oficial Twitter tonight: There's still over 3000 tickets remaining for tomorrow, so you can still be here to show your support. Tickets here: http://www.rangers.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/standAndAreaSelection.aspx?stadium=IB&product=T12A17&campaign=&type=H
  18. There were 3,500 tickets left according to the official Twitter this morning. No doubt less now. But keep buying!
  19. The volume and bass controls are fine. But the treble's f*cked!
  20. David Hope set up the Rangers Pools. I'm sure Adam did some good work for them later on but that doesn't excuse him coming out with that stuff today ten years after the event.
  21. Hi Radu. Let me give your thread a "bump" just in case. What a great place Munchen is by the way.
  22. Story I've heard is that it is or has been in a lawyers' account (presumably the same lawyers Whyte has been using). More to come obviously - hopefully cleared up later in the week.
